I AM RETIRED FROM 45 YEARS IN THE FLORAL INDUSTRY AND RECENTLY RETURNED TO THE SOUTH GEORGIA, NORTH FLORIDA AREA. I LIVED IN MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY FOR THE PAST THIRTY YEARS. FOR THE PAST FEW YEARS I HAVE BEEN "CLIMBING TREES"...DOING GENEALOGY RESEARCH INTO OUR FAMILIES ANCESTRY.

After checking some of your memorials I was able to arrive at that conclusion and you connection to the Swango family... Stephen Swango 1818, was a brother to my 2nd gr grandfather George Washington Swango.
After finding an article in the Hazel Green newspaper, I do not accept the death date posted on Find A Grave for George Washington Swango nor do I accept the death date of his wife Lucinda Hollon Swango. I am sure George & Lucinda died in late 1890 early 1891.
Following is the article;
The Hazel Green Herald. May 5, 1891.The funeral of G.W. Swango and Lucinda Swango, will be preached at the old Baptist Church, on Stillwater, the first Sunday in July, by Elders W.W. Caudle, H.B. Crofford and Barney Blankenship. Services commence at 10: O'clock AM. All invited... gr gr granddaughter of George W & Lucinda Swango.

I seen that you had left a message for your second cousin, Allie Osceola Bishop on her memorial page and I wanted to let you know that I added Allie's stone picture to her memorial page!!
I love going to cemeteries and taking pictures and I went yesterday to the Old Village Cemetery in Mexico, MO, and took pictures of what I could.
