Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Karla. I was widowed September 17, 2014. Though I miss him greatly, Tommy is now at rest and peace. I am the mother of 4. I love genealogy whenever I can find the time to dive into it. 'Cause diving is what I do. Once I jump in, it's a long time before I can get out of it!

I am researching KELLEY/KELLY in Georgia primarily, but find my ancestors came from North and South Carolinas and Virginia. My 3rd great-grandfather, James Kelly, had descendents that traveled from Georgia to Tennessee, Alabama, and as far as Washington!

I also research my married name CARDELL in Georgia.

LOVINGGOOD/LOVINGOOD is my grandfather Kelley's mother's name and they are primarily from North Carolina and Georgia.

CRAPSE of South Carolina, COOKE of Georgia, and DOCKERY of North Carolina and Georgia are other family names I research.

I love all the headstone photos that have been shared here, thank all of you who have contributed, and enjoy submitting my own information that hopefully helps others!

Thanks
Karla,
That is fine, as long as he is linked. Thanks for doing that. I added a photograph and gave credit in a "flower note" giving credit to Elaine Johnson for the photograph. She is a great-granddaughter.

You are welcome! I did check the entire cemetery in Guyton. I do feel that it was an error. Let me know if I need to check it out again. :)

Westview photo requests
Hello

I would like to help you find your photo request at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.

Westview is massive the largest cemetery in the whole Southeast. Would you please help me by calling the cemetery office at 404-755-6611 to find out whether the grave is marked with a monument or marker or both AND what the section and lot numbers are.

Then I will gladly look.

The office is reluctant to give out that information to non-relatives.

Thanks

Phil

Kelley/Kelly
Hi Carla, I am searching my Kelley ancestors. These were my great-great grandparents. My great grandmother was Berta Kelley Wehunt. I have some names that you can add to the Wehunt side if you would like to contact me. Elaine Johnson
