Bio Photo "Lord,
Today, let me do all the good I can, for I may not pass this way again."
(author unknown)

We don't "own" the memorials that we manage, and we are not "Memorial Barons". We may create them, update them, or transfer them to others - we are but stewards. They are Find A Grave memorials of human beings, departed. They are not to be collected like "friends" on a social media website, or like baseball trading cards. And there is no prize for the one who dies with the most.

The reward (for me) comes from maintaining the most accurate and dignified memorials I can. What we record becomes history, and a record in someone else's family tree. We have a responsibility to do a good job of it. It's a privilege and honor.

Please feel free to use any of my photos on Find A Grave or genealogy websites.

A good many of the memorials that I maintain are not my own family members, so don't be afraid to request a transfer. You might get lucky :)

RE: Thank You
Jeff,
I was born & raised in Rapid City & have a lot of family at Clearwater so it's a favorite. I even have my own plot & headstone there.
If you make a memorial for Frank's wife feel free to use my pic or contact me & I'll post it.
Sincerely,
Karen

RE: Thank You
You're very welcome. I believe I saw several other Briens there with no memorials. I'll try getting back there to document when possible.

RE: Modern Art ??
Hi Jeff,
I tried to post a msg about Mabel's grave in Oakhill Cemetery but couldn't post with out a pic. Apparently she is not buried there, they have no record of her. Even checked a different spelling.
I'll try and remove the photo.
Thanks for the reply,
Stacy

RE: Mary Rugraff
I have taken Mary's posting down. Although I can not yet get confirmation, I feel sure she would have had an obituary, and there doesn't seem to be one. Also, all of First's bulletins and "Table Talk" 's seem to be online, and there would have been a mention. I originally posted in June, 2014, and I think I must have based ot on an Honorarium, or other mention of her which I misinterpreted. I certainly hope she was unaware, and I thank you for being observant, and taking the trouble to contact me. Mark Twain once stated, "The reports of my demise have been highly exaggerated." Not everyone has his sense of humor.

I wonder, I have run across a Francis Rugraff, who I think could be her husband. #72120223, died 26Nov2001, West Tenn Veteran's Cemetery, Sgt., Air Forces, WWII. Would you know?

RE: Mary Rugraff
Hope this finds you feeling much better. A stomach virus won't kill you, but it sure can be a misery.

I finally spoke to someone at First Baptist. Should know something definite soon.
