My husband and I are retired. Genealogy is our hobby. I have found some of my ancestors on F.A.G. and decided I could help by uploading more of mine and helping others with theirs. We like the challenge. I enjoy taking photos for Find-A-Grave but I DO want credit for photos I've taken and placed on Find-A-Grave that are then lifted and placed on other websites, free or subscription. Thank you. | |

Thank you so much for this web site. I worked for Alton Flanders years ago in the 70s when I was in the Navy stationed at the Naval Air Station, Oak Harbor, Washington. We used to call him "Al" when I worked for him. He was a supervisor of electronics technicians there. I went to his house one time to visit, and met his wife Eleanor. I heard later that he had retired. What I didn't know was that he was an amateur radio operator for years. I am, too.
Do you know of anyone who has a picture of Alton? I don't and I should have taken pictures of him when I worked for him. I should have taken a picture of him back then, and I didn't. It looks like there was an entire family of Flanders in Washington state.
