I am a retired Tech Lab teacher in middle school.|
I enjoy genealogy and creating photo album pages of grandkids. I especially enjoy taking pictures of headstones. Cemeteries are lovely, peaceful and quiet.
PLEASE use the edit button to request transfers and make changes/additions to memorials.
Also, since I take a large number of cemstone photos, it is time prohibitive to clean them, especially the older ones, before taking a pic. I will be glad to retake any photos upon request.
AND, I would really appreciate any email communication to include the memorial numbers of the person(s) to whom you are referring. It is so time consuming (and open to error) to find names using the search tool.

|Richard Juhl||Koenig children|
Mae...I suspect that Margueretha Koenig, 1911-1913, (#134601077), also buried at Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, is also part of this family but I can't verify it. Maybe you can read more on Margueretha's gravestone than I can??
It's sad to see a family lose so many children at very young ages. Also sad, the youngest, Victor Carl Koenig, (technically tied for youngest as he had a twin, Vernon) died at age 21 in a car accident after serving 3 years in WWII...Richard

Mae....thanks for linking the various Koenig children to their parents at Crown Hill Cemetery in Jefferson County, Colorado. And thanks for all your dedicated work in general...Richard

Thank you, Mae. It's perfect.
|Kimberley Stewart (Rediker)||Potts Family, White City, KS|
I am researching the Potts family. My grandmother was Josie Jane (Potts) Rediker. Her brother was William LeRoy Potts, which you added on this website. Can you tell me if the other "Potts" listed in this cemetery are related, and if so, how. I do not know any of her siblings except for William LeRoy Potts, and would appreciate any information you can give me. Thank you.

Thank you for looking for a headstone for him. I just asked for one because his obit got to me and I wanted to see what kind of stone he had. There must be a lot of unmarked burials in this cemetery, and that's really sad.

I checked to be sure there wasn't another Darrel Germeroth listed. There isn't one shown. I'm sure the temporary marker is incorrect. I'll double-check the directory at the cemetery the next time I'm there.

|Lisa M. Watkins-Duhn||RE: Erma Patterson|
Oh thank you Mae. A cousin I meet online with Ancestry.com have been wondering where Erma Floy Patterson went. You just didn't have her down as James & Eva Mae Patterson daughter, along with Hallie & Loy Alva Patterson. She graduated from the high school there. Just if you can add her on too with her brothers. I wish Kansas had more records on line, or Morris County. Do you know for sure if the James Patterson that died in 1935 in Greenwood Cemetery is Eva Mae Watkins-Patterson husband? Mae, I so want to get out to Council Grove. Thank you for all you do. Let me know if I can help you out in Orange County, Ca. But someone, in Council Grove has to have a picture of James & Martha Watkins. If this man was the largest land owner in town at one time, and deeded the land where the high school now sits, even ran the Commercial Hotel for awhile. I have to get out to that town. Take Care Mae
Would you happen to have the names of the parents of Viola Linkugel?

Let me know if you get a response from Geno-seeker. I find it interesting how so many people came through Hermansberg, for no larger than it is. There must have been some promotion of the church back east.

|A Walston||John Hatke-Find A Grave Memorial # 60276705|
Thank you for fulfilling my photo request for John Hatke. I appreciate it greatly. I was just wondering if there was anything on the back of his headstone. His wife, Emma Julia Staub Hatke, is also buried in this plot. I don't think her name and information was ever inscribed on the marker, unless it's on the back. At one time there was an inscription of some kind on the back, but I don't know if she was mentioned there. Thanks for your work on Find a Grave.
