Bio Photo I am a retired Tech Lab teacher in middle school.
I enjoy genealogy and creating photo album pages of grandkids. I especially enjoy taking pictures of headstones. Cemeteries are lovely, peaceful and quiet.

PLEASE use the edit button to request transfers and make changes/additions to memorials.
Thank you.

Also, since I take a large number of cemstone photos, it is time prohibitive to clean them, especially the older ones, before taking a pic. I will be glad to retake any photos upon request.

AND, I would really appreciate any email communication to include the memorial numbers of the person(s) to whom you are referring. It is so time consuming (and open to error) to find names using the search tool.

Karen Brooks
You must get around! I am working on my family's genealogy (Mayer and Brooks) and You have Andrew Mayer (Marysville) #134263918 that I'd like you to transfer. Also, all the Brooks in Council Grove/Morris County cemeteries are mine to. There are 16 and you have all but 1. If you need me to give you all the memorial numbers I can, but maybe it isn't necessary if you search Brooks in Morris Co and transfer that way. Thank you so much for all you do!

RE: Cessinger infants in Immanuel Lutheran
Let me know if you get a response from Geno-seeker. I find it interesting how so many people came through Hermansberg, for no larger than it is. There must have been some promotion of the church back east.

Thank you so much for the photo. This is truly fantastic. This adds much to his history, and my file on this soldier. I am very grateful. Thank you again.

John Hatke-Find A Grave Memorial # 60276705
Thank you for fulfilling my photo request for John Hatke. I appreciate it greatly. I was just wondering if there was anything on the back of his headstone. His wife, Emma Julia Staub Hatke, is also buried in this plot. I don't think her name and information was ever inscribed on the marker, unless it's on the back. At one time there was an inscription of some kind on the back, but I don't know if she was mentioned there. Thanks for your work on Find a Grave.

Irma I. Miller

I was wondering if you knew Irma's maiden name by chance. I have been searching for a grand aunt Erma/or Irma Brubaker is her maiden name. I know she married a Miller but no information on the spouse. I know her siblings are Ivan, Orin, Vesta, and Eula Brubaker.

Thanks so much,

Julianna Close Gruhnowski Staub
Hello, Julianna was my Great Great Grandmother. My Great Grandfather Gustave Fredrick Gruhn was her son.I have visited her grave a few times, but I have not seen the gold marker that is placed on the stone in the picture that you posted. Does it have any writing on it? The stone was once much larger, and there was a lengthy inscription on the botton of the stone in 1978. The next time I came back to visit in the late 1980's the bottom of the stone and the entire inscription was gone. Just wondered if someone would know how it read.It was written in German.
Thanks for posting
