Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm a retired federal employee who fell into doing some online family research for a friend of mine - a McKenzie - and now I'm in so deep I can't get out! Most of you probably know the feeling. But it's a harmless obsession which I enjoy so I'll stick with it until I pull out the rest of my disappearing hair. I try to post most of my findings on Find A Grave so if you're interested in the McKenzie family who settled in central Missouri after emigrating from North Carolina via Kentucky, just enter the last name - mckenzie - in the box to the right and take a look! As for my own family, some surnames would be Fallas, Fallass, Bray, Oechsli, Mills - all of those in the northeastern quadrant of the lower 48 - and, on the Swedish side, Nilsson and Waldemarsson in the province of Skåne län.

I think I have it all fixed now. Thanks for calling it to my attention. There was a time when Find A Grave sometimes duplicated itself when entering memorials.

Best wishes, Suzanne

Herbert Mills
Amazing report on Dr. Mills. He and Mary G. Mills were our next door neighbors in Tampa. I knew he had a family in St. Pete, but I never knew about the Mexican divorce. I was only 5 years old when Dr. Mills passed away, but I remember him well. He kept a garage full of what I believe were body parts from medical testing. He also kept rabbits and sheep on his property for medical tests. An interesting man. Mrs. Mills never sold the home nor did she remarry.

"Plot" that you reference is called the grave # designation at Holy Cross. In the context photo, the empty (no marker) spot immediately to the left of Arthur/Mary is Michael Dwyer's grave 9; the grave just to the right is Ernest Vogelgesang's .... grave # 11. Had I mentioned the H.C. data base (sfgenealogy.com) available online? Go to my Find A Grave profile to find how to access, enter R2 44 10 in the section, row, grave and you'll see that Arthur & Mary are together. Then enter R2 44 9 for Michael and then R2 44 11 for Ernest. I suggest you submit requests for each of the two to get photos of their own individual burial locations.
