Most of my memorials are from Fairview Cemetery. I have done research on many early Floyd and Harrison County families while researching my own family and will continue to add information on the memorials I have created. I love being able to contribute to findagrave and think it is an awesome resource. - Beth Day Nolan

CARL BRACHER
Hi,

I am curious if you have a personal connection to the Carl Bracher at Fairview Cemetery?

I am desperately trying to find the parents of my great great grandmother Elisabeth Bracher and having a hard time. She married a Lutheran minister and they lived in Illinois, Iowa, South Dakota and Wisconsin...so Fairview might not be a long shot.

Thank You,

Deborah Mansell

Joseph Tharp photo request
I posted two photos from the Volunteer Firemen Co's section of Fairview Cemetery in New Albany, IN. Unfortunately, there was no headstone anywhere in the area for Mr. Tharp.

Edward Storey d. 1896
Dear Liz,

I believe the name posted for Edward Storey should be Edmond Storey. His mother was Elizabeth Storey who paid for the cemetery plot. In addition to Edmond (b. 1836 in IN d. 6 Dec 1896), who was the youngest son of William and Elizabeth Storey, other siblings include: Alfred Storey (b. 1825 England); Emma Storey Swift who is also buried in Fairview (b.1829 England, married Jonathan Swift); Catherine Storey (b.1831 England, married Peter Stacey Holmes); and William Storey (b.1834 in Indiana). Edmond lived with his sister Emma Storey after the Civil War and her husband's death.
