I am a native of Massachusetts but have lived in Florida more than 35 years. I spent eight years in the Air Force and then over 45 years in the computer industry as a software engineer before retiring in 1998.|
I am a volunteer webmaster for www.508pir.org, a site dedicated to men of the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment. The 508th jumped into Normandy and Holland and fought in the Battle of the Bulge in WW-II. Subsequently the regiment fought in Korea and Vietnam and today is seeing duty in Afghanistan and Iraq.
The web site has benefited on a number of occasions with photos contributed by Find-A-Grave volunteers
I felt that those contributions should be reciprocated and I have become a volunteer myself.

Because you have a memorial in that cemetery, so thought you had an idea, but guess not. Sorry to trouble you.
I was told by another F.A.G. user, that there is no Long Prairie Cemetery, Todd County, Minnesota. Yet there is such a cemetery on F.A.G. and there are 62 plus burials in that cemetery. I created a memorial for George Karl LaFrenz and posted a gravestone picture, that was sent to me by a family member living in Minnesota. My questions to you are, what is correct? Yes there is a Long Prairie Cemetery? Would you happen to know if George Karl LaFrenz is buried there? The person told me he is really buried in Evergreen Cemetery. Is there someone I may call to find out this information? Where would this cemetery be? Thanks for your help.

Any time. I was happy to help.

I am sorry to report that I searched for this grave in the stated Garden and plot but did not find it. There are two spaces with no marker in this area that could be his gravesite, if so his grave is unmarked.
I searched the cemetery records and although his obituary states that he will be laid to rest in the SFNC, Mr. Zuccala and his wife are not there. His family may not have brought him down yet. I remember you requested this photograph about a year ago. I have been checking. I will continue to do so and will post it when he is finally laid to rest.

|Lisa Dailey||Thank You!|
Thank you for posting a photo of my late uncles marker, Capt. Paul H. Dean. I have just found this website! I recently located his widow after 69 years of no contact from my family. She just turned 90 and we are so happy we have found each other. Thank you for doing this kind service!

Thank you. Someone probably couldn't find the right one so they created a new cemetery listing. Take care.
|Johnny||RE: Stinson marker|
You are very welcome. His parents and Grandparents are all buried in the same section. There is a grave marker for a Robert E. Stinson 1934 and no date of death that is also located in the area. Is that Roy's son ?
