I live in Oregon east of Portland and at the mouth of the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. My husband and I live across the street from and old Douglass Pioneer Cemetery and that's where we enjoy taking a lot of our walks. We have some of our family, some neighbors and church friends buried there.|
I am enjoying working on our family trees, its hard not to take pictures of other graves, I know what a blessing it is to have help from others as I search to put the pieces together.
I received a picture request and it was a real "Find A Grave".
The person was buried in 1935, I don't know how many years this tree has been growing and still is growing, or if it was planted there or not, but this is something to think about. The tree is about 50-60 feet tall.

Hello Janice, my name is Hal Bryson, and I'm writing to ask if I may have your permission to use two of your Find a Grave headstone photos in my Ancestry.com family tree. I think that the headstones are a useful addition to family trees and I would like to include them.
Please let me know. Thanks!

It says Chany is your G G G Grandmother. How is this connected? She would be my G G G Aunt.

Thank you for adding the information for Alfred and Norma Mershon! When I clicked onto your name from their pages, it shows a # and that you were a one day member, which confused me, since you have so many memorials that you contributed. It did it again this morning. Huh. How odd.
Anyway, I appreciate all your hard work for this wonderful site, and wish you and your family many blessings, prosperity and good health in the New Year! God Bless you.

I have just sent information for two of your memorials, with additional information and an obituary. I see you were a member for a day. If you don't work the memorials any longer, I would be happy to manage the memorials and add the information. They are:
Alfred E. Mershon (1927 - 1994)# 103107553
Norma M. Mershon (1931 - 2003) # 103107545
I know sometimes it takes time to get to our e-mails, but just in case, I'm sending this.
Thanks, and Happy New Year to you and yours.
