I have often been told that I am a rather odd sort for enjoying spending time at cemeteries. I enjoy doing this because I am interested in preserving our past and I believe cemeteries are definitely a starting place.|
At this time, I would also like to express that my involvement with Find A Grave is NEVER to upset anyone. It is purely to be able to provide a place for us to honor those we love and provide information for those who are trying to find their family, friends and loved ones. If I have entered someone you wish not be part of Find A Grave, I will gladly remove them as soon as I get a chance.
I do manage a number of memorials on this website and I have no problem transferring those individuals to family or friends who will do a better job providing the loving care they deserve. I look at Find A Graves "guidelines" as suggestions, not the all end of all rules and the world is going to end if we do not follow them.
On that note, I would also like to let everyone know that I work a full-time job and Find A Gave is a hobby for me. I am trying to do my best to keep up with all of the emails and information sent to me. Unfortunatly, I am not doing a very good job. If you have sent a request or information to me in the past and I have not responded to you, I kindly ask you send the request to me again.
I hope I have not offended anyone and everyone realizes I enjoy participating in this forum to honor our families, friends, and our past.

In regards to this memorial, there seems to be a duplicate. Memorial# 20848748 was entered by you in 2007. Memorial# 49522848 was added in 2010. The person who entered the later memorial has their messages disabled and I am unable to contact them in regards to this matter.
As the later memorial has more information added, I can only ask that your entry be removed to eliminate the duplicate. In all fairness, it shouldn't be this way. I don't know of any other options, as merging memorials doesn't see to be an option.
|Carolyn Hebbe McLeod||Doris Marie Weathers|
Doris Marie Weathers, memorial 29119348, was a member of my Bishop family.
If she was not a member of your family, would you please consider transferring her memorial to me?
Thank you, Carolyn (47384868)

Researching my gr gr grandmother Lou Jones (1851-1854 maybe) in Texas. I've seen her name assoc with different Jones in multiple census.
Her name has been documented as Lou, Lou C, Lou M, Louisa K Jones. Her marriage to L B Richardson is my connection.... I've just about exhausted all ways to find confirmed documentation for her... She is on a Census with Stephen (1805-06) and Louisa (1820-21) in 1870, w/ daughter Lou Jones (1856-57).
Any chance you have more information on this family?
I'm looking for the Lou Jones married to L B Richardson, which are my gr gr grandparents. Her name has been documented as Louisa, Louisa K, Lou C, Lou, and/or Lou M Jones.
Thank you for your time!!
Cindy in Texas

I am looking for help in getting a obit for James Lee Price. He is a classmate and I am trying to find obits on all our classmates that have passed.
If you live in Wylie and can find an obit for him I would be most grateful.
|Mynaime||TRANSFER MANAGEMENT REQUEST|
Thank you for the editing you corrected for my great grandparents, Andrew and Susan Martin.
I would like to request a transfer of management for these and their connections if you don't mind.
This is my family and I would love to manage their info in FindAGrave.

|Stang Girl||Memorials for Great Grandparents|
I wanted to see if you would be willing to transfer the memorials for both of my great grandparents to me. I already have several of their children's pages (including my Grandpa Claud Crace) and I would love to manage the whole families pages so that I can link them all. Since my Grandpa died, I'm taking up the genealogy quest.
The two you have are:
Rev Henry P Crace
Mary Ellen Blair Crace
Thank you so much!
And thank you for creating their pages!

|Mo Crawfish||Sarah Aggie Barefoot Linch Scott 62401032|
Thank you for all the contributions you make to this site and community. In particular, thank you for creating the memorial referenced above. She was apparently the second wife of one of my 3rd great uncles, Williamson Alva Scott. His sister Mary Jane Scott is my 3rd great grandmother. Interestingly enough, their maternal grandmother was Aggie Barefoot Lynch, and she married Lewis Whitby. Aggie Barefoot Lynch was one of 34 purported legitimate children of a William Lynch of Brunswick County, Virginia. I feel fairly certain that Sarah Aggie Barefoot Linch is related to, and named in honor of, my Aggie Barefoot Lynch. Do you have any further information about Sarah at all? Have you located a marriage record for her and Williamson Scott? Thank you in advance for any light you're able to shed on this.
|J Smith||Plot map for New Hope Cemetery in Van Zandt County|
Can you advise me as to who may have a plot map of New Hope Cemetery in Van Zandt County? Or possibly you can tell me where the gravesite of Samuel Roe is? I quickly walked the cemetery recently and although I found others in my husband's Roe family I did not find Samuel's or his wife's.
Thank you in Advance.

I believe this is the grave of Julia Ann [Bayless] Phillips and husband, John E. Phillips. She is a sister of my ancestor. Father: William S. Bayless; Mother: Lillyann E. Power/Powers. Thought you could add full names instead of initials. Thanks
