I am a retired engineer and marketing executive born in Michigan and educated at the University of Michigan. My wife and I have lived all over the country, coast to coast, and lastly lived 10 years in downtown Chicago before returning to Southwestern Michigan. We have four professional children each with two children of their own. I enjoy genealogy and believe that Find A Grave Photos are a wonderful way to keep the memories alive of our friends, loved ones and ancestors who have gone before us.|
ps: The photo comes from long,long ago.

|Q Taylor||William Jones Jr|
Sorry Robert, I had William Sr's death year incorrect in my database (1860). It's 1868 on his memorial page.

|Q Taylor||William Jones Jr - Son of Catherine Beam|
He was born one month before William Jones Sr died. He is found in the 1870 Census in Sherwood, Branch Co, with his mother and siblings; John, Sarah, Isaac and Irene. I can send you a copy of his death certificate if you would like, just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I can fill you in our our branch of the family. Nice to hear from someone in the Jones family.

|Ron's Resort||RE: Eli Duverney (Duvernay) #32922491|
Thank you for your interest in the Duvernay Clan. Eli and William Duvernay were brothers. I added some biographical notes to Eli's memorial. They both served in the Civil War, although in different Company's. I am not sure that I am the one to explain the name spelling variation, or corruption. It could be that the Eli, William, and the rest of the children did not read or write. I am not sure about William, but according to the 1870 Census, Eli could not read or write.
Thank you again, RJS
How does Eli Duvernay relate to Wm Duverney #160006344? Both Eli and William have Headstones Provided for Deceased Union Civil War Veterans. On both the surname is spelled Duverney. Please let me know and I will delete one just posted.
