Re: Col. Hugh Watson McNeil
Melanie,
Greetings, I am contacting you now regarding the headstone of Bucktail Col. Hugh McNeil. There's been several years of talks from our Bucktail Reenactors Association of Penna., to restore his neglected headstone/monument at Fort Hill, NY. However, finding descendants of this civil war hero is paramount before that action. Do you possibly have contact with any of his relatives? If so, would love to speak with them regarding our intentions. Yours ,very respectfully Michael Parana

P.S. At the South Mt./ Antietam battlefield, there has yet to be a marker placed to the heroics of Colonel McNeil to this very day.

ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day.

If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.

Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

Delinia Garrison
Melanie,
You are listed as the photographer for Delinia Garrison buried in Hico Cemetery, Siloam Springs, Benton Co., Arkansas. I have requested a photo or a quote of the inscription on the headstone. When I zoom it, I am still unable to read it. Thank you. M.Gill

Charles McNeil
Hi Melanie,

I've added Charles' name and linked him to William. I've been reading the cemetery and posting the information here, so I have no family ties to the McNeils. Thanks for the information!

Hi Melanie,

I have added the parent links for Charles Mason in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Tumwater, WA.

The photo is a little small so I can't make out the years. Do you happen to have that information from the marker so I can add the birth years to their memorials? Looks like the marker was buried.

Thank you,
Elaine

Thank you for posting this photo of my 3rd GGrandfather's headstone. Will try to find a cemetery contact who might help me restore the broken stone. Again, thanks.
