Bio Photo My name is Glenn. I enjoy taking photos of tombstones in the Ozaukee County area. I have been researching my ancestry for the past seven years and I love to find old records.

Kathy and I volunteer for the Ozaukee County Historical Society. We are in the process of photographing and documenting all the cemeteries in Ozaukee County.

If you have any questions about your Ancestry feel free to contact the Ozaukee County Historical Society at 262-377-4510. They are open every Tuesday from 9AM to 3 PM, the 2nd and 4th Monday night from 5 8 P.M. and the 2nd Saturday of each month from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M.

Recently individuals are submitting transfer requests without the required information.

I would appreciate if anyone requests a transfer, use the EDIT tab. The transfer request must contain the following information: Relationship; Parents, Siblings, Grandparents and Great Grandparents (which does not include Aunts/Uncles/Cousins) and your Find-A-Grave Contributor Number. A transfer cannot be completed without the contributor number. This will assist me in processing your request in a timely fashion.

Memorial #62011225
This Memorial is for Frank G. Hoffmann, but the Obit posted here is for my wife's 2 times GGrandfather Franz Carl "Frank" Hoffmann" and as the obit states he was married to Anna Asche. Could you tell me the name and date of the paper this was from? I have yet to locate his or his wife's grave. I think it is Milwaukee, but it could be in Cedarburg.

Sophie Asche
I am researching my wife's family and am puzzled by an apparent dual grave for her ancestor, Sophia Asche, b. 1843, d. 1932. One #59945945
in the Cedarburg Cemetery and another #92970106
in the Immanuel Cemetery. These are clearly the same person. Are these cemeteries the same? Purhaps you can clear this up?
Thank you for your time, I look at your numbers and am amazed and thankful!

Leon and Linda Venne
Hi Glenn and Kathy. Would you be able to transfer Leon Venne (Memorial #119315988) and Linda Venne (Memorial #119316040) to me? They are relatives of mine. Also, thank you for adding them and taking the headstone pictures!

RE: Herman Uhlig Property
As they only lived there for 6 years there isnít much in the records I have.

"On 24 Mar 1890, Herman purchased nearly 7 acres of land on Velvet Street (Now Fourth Ave) from Charles Kroenig for $2,150. The land is located just west of Ritter's Beverages.

By 9 Apr 1896, he sold the land to Fred Herman for $2,500.Ē

By 1882 it was assessed to be 7.7 acres with their home in the NE corner of the lot just north of Cleveland St.

Iím sorry I couldnít have been more help.

Hello, :)

I am looking for family members of Wilhelm Conrad Seegers and Auguste Wurthmann-Seegers. You have created a memorial for William so I am wondering if he is your ancestor. I have family photographs and documents that I would like to give to the proper owner.

Thank you,
Katherine Atkinson
