Dec. 11, 2014 - The virtual cemeteries on my list that start with an asterick are one memorial in each of the international cemeteries I have worked on. I use this to easily find each cemetery.|
Interesting projects I have been working on. (Newest work at top of list):
Murulla Railway Disaster A midnight train collision in the Upper Hunter Valley on Sept. 13, 1926 near Murrurundi, New South Wales. The different cemeteries are interlinked.
Victims of the Sunshine Station Railway Disaster Forty-four people died when one train ran into another in a crowded train station in suburban Melbourne in 1908. Newspaper articles and photos of those killed. Hyperlinks at the bottom of each page will carry you to the different cemeteries involved.
Coranderrk Aboriginal Cemetery, Healesville, Victoria, Australia. Amazing 150 year old photos of the residents of this Aboriginal Station, who believed that Queen Victoria had given the reserve to them in perpetuity.
Dom St. Petri, Bremen, Germany with photos from Sept. 2014.
Goodwood Motor Circuit Cemetery, Chichester, England with photos.
Chichester Cathedral, West Sussex, England with photos.
National Cathedral of Denmark, Copenhagen. With translations.
Sankt Petri Kirke, Copenhagen.
Oude Kerk, Amsterdam is a 14th century church that became an indoor cemetery. Each stone in the floor covers between 2 and 7 graves. I have found a lot of genealogical information and I have photographed both the stone and the area of the church the stone is in; you get a sense of the size of this place. BACK OFF, girls! The silver fox in a number of the pictures is MINE!
China Ashes is my list of people who died in China and the disposition of their ashes was lost. It is especially interesting considering how many of these individuals I could find photos for.
Royal Naval Cemetery - Liu-kung-tao
Holy Trinity Cathedral and the story of the ashes there (or are they?)
Taiyuan Massacre Graves
The Rebellion Cemetery of 1900
Yangpu Public Park
Weihsien Civilian Assembly Center
Coming soon: Photographed Bremen and Copenhagen graves!
-Recently I have been including a list of my sources to be placed under the ADD NOTE tab. PLEASE do not post my name and number; my ego just doesn't need that and your bio will just look sloppy. My greatest reward is a beautifully formatted memorial. THANKS, YALL!
IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT MY MEMORIALS, PLEASE INCLUDE THE MEMORIAL NUMBER WITH YOUR QUERY.

Hi, I did not find that he was buried in Ohio.
If he went from Japan to visit his married daughter, his wife was probably with him, so she probably arranged for him to be buried in Japan.
Dtr. Frances Enid Smith b. 21 Feb. 1914 in Tokyo, died 23 Aug 1993 in Yellow Springs, Greene Co., Ohio. I did not find a cemetery record for her yet.
Married Frederick R. Lemcke Aug 30, 1934 in Marshall Co., Indiana. He was b. 26 Mar 1914 in Brooklyn, Kings Co., N.Y., d. 26 May 1965 while on vacation to the Smokey Mountains in Gatlinburg, Sevier Co., Tennessee. He had a previous heart condition. The online death record showed he died in Ohio for some reason. He was cremated and cremains taken to Sunset crematory in Columbus, Ohio. Possibly Frances is there also. They had one dtr. Karen Enid Lemcke b. 10 Jan 1938 in Ohio, was deceased by the time her father died in 1965. May have died as a young child.
One son Keith Frederick Lemcke b. 18 Jan. 1944 in Springfield, Greene Co., Ohio. Died in Aug. 1992 in Yellow Springs, Greene Co., Ohio at age 48.
Frederick and Frances were involved in Greene Co., Ohio Council for Retarded children and Ohio Assoc. for Retarded children.
From newspaper articles, Percy intended to build a church in Japan in memory of his parents, Prof. Eli Smith and Seraphina Frances Gardner.
Probably more than you want to know.

The grave is located in Section Wesleyan, Compartment F, Grave 1009. There is no marker. Date of burial 23 April 1908. Also buried in this grave are Richard T.D. Kerr, Age 36, buried 27 June 1889, and Margaret Kerr, Age 71, buried on 1 December 1923.
|Sigi McMahon||Archer and Mary Clark|
According to the Cemetery Office, they have no Archer Clark and the only Mary A. Clark they have was buried in March 1908 so could not have died in the April train disaster. The funeral notice says: "at Fawkner", so it wouldn't be the cemetery in Carlton. Please check and perhaps withdraw photo requests. Thanks.
