Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love doing genealogy. The search for our ancestors and their stories have intrigued me beyond my own imagination. I love walking the old cemeteries and then, the search that comes with them. I hope I can help another person in their research.

Please, do not add death certificates to the memorials I have created. Sometimes, they can be hurtful to family members. Also, any pictures or information I have added, feel free to use them. It would be nice to have credit for them.

Hello Connie,
If you wouldn't mind, I usually put, "information provided by contributor on memorials where people add information. My number is #47447776" - Kat B
Not to be mysterious, but I'd rather keep it at Kat B! Thank you, I appreciate your help!

You are very welcome, and I agree it is heart breaking that so many don't have a headstone or the headstone is deteriorating or damages

RE: Minerva
I have been working on this, I really doubt seriously that this grave is my Minerva who supposedly was born in 1852 in Texas per the 1880 census Hamilton Co. TX after she married James E. Ferguson. (listed under his initials J.E. Ferguson.....don't know what the Hamilton Co. connection was. They married in Mason believe it was 1877. Anyway the stone in Newton Co. says that Minerva was born in 1852. The OTHER Minerva Jane Nolin (Nolan) married and M. Ferguson in the county I live in now, Tyler Co. TX in 1851. But, supposedly (per census, she was born in 1835) So, that date isnt correct either. And no one seems to know exactly when each of these women died. It may be more likely that it was her instead of my Minerva because she did live in adjacent county Jasper Co. on 1870 census. So, I don't know what to do and don't know who changed the Find A Grave "label" to include this other Minerva. Suppose she was married to a Malkijah A. Ferguson

Its a mystery for sure. What do you think I should do?
