On some of the (Memorials) I put on FAG they may show no DEATH DATE I go ahead and add them any way, because I don't know if they have passed away are if they are still alive.I have found some that have passed away few years ago and there death date still hadn't been put on the marker. When they do pass away I will add death date to the memorial.I don't mean any harm by this so if you see some you will understand.

RE: Alta Golliher
I was so disappointed she didn't have a marker. I had a feeling that would be the case when I went to the cemetery since all of the other markers in the plot had been placed on Find-a-Grave. Hate it when that happens.

RE: George Lorance @ Princeton Cemetery
Are you a friend or relative? Or did you just happen up on this?
He is my brother. We had lived at Culleoka and went to school in Princeton.
Thanks again for the picture.

George Lorance @ Princeton Cemetery
Thank you for adding the photo of Chuck on his memorial page. I have problems with my laptop and can't plug my printer up to it. I had dropped
it on the side. Still get internet, but can't print, or send out pics.
Thank you so much.

Shady Carter
Dear Patricia,
My name is Adrea Scholnick - Miller. My dad, Irving Scholnick served on the USS Hope during WW2. When he passed away in 1997, I decided to make a website in honor of those who served aboard the ship with him. Unfortunately, he was army (medical staff) and I didn't have much in the way of military records for the Naval personnel.
A few weeks ago, after almost 20 years, I obtained the muster rolls for the USS Hope and am finally able to research the men and women from the navy, and to my surprise I have all of the names, ranks and other information about people who were patients aboard the USS Hope.

Researching this is very tedious. I am trying to obtain pictures of as many men & women who set foot on the ship as I can to be included on their own personal webpage. Shady was a patient on the USS Hope in November of 1944.

I was wondering if you have ANY pictures of Shady (in uniform if possible) that you would be willing to share for my website. I would also like permission to use the black & white photo. I will give you the proper credit.

My regular email address is
Thank you in advance.

Mary Lou Dean
Pat, Mary Lou Dean died last week. Sandy Pitman put an obituary on her memorial. Thought you might want to get your information updated and then tell her you already have a memorial for her. Alison
