RE: Jacob Mann #75672285
Donald,
Thank you for your note and your thanks. I was determined to find him and thanks to our LED flashlight, we can read stones that usually get ignored because of their condition. He is my Great Grandfather too and it felt like closure, to be able to prove his burial location.

That's so sad that it has only gotten worse in the year since we've been there. I'm so glad you were able to find it and visit his resting place!

Thanks again for your encouragement.
Blessings to you, cousin.

Julie

RE: Stilwell Fisher correction
sorry to be so slow but I failed to write down your address. If I remember correctly you wanted to know about Job Fisher. According to my findings James Solomon Fisher was married to Roseanna E Newman b 1842 and also to Ezadiah Truax. with Roseanna he had 3 children Sarah M 1867, Selia A 1868, and Job Mann Fisher 1873-1959. with Ezadiah he had Stillwell Howard 1855-1943. I remember being told that Job was my great grandfather's half brother. I have a picture of him standing on the street corner in California saying it was hot. Looking back in the tree I find that James Solomon Fisher had a brother also named Job Mann Fisher (must have been a popular name ) LOL this Job was born 1821 and died 1872. Could this have been the other Job???
In answer to your questions about the family: My mother Mary Jane b 11 July 1922 d 09 Aug 1994. She married Orval Ercel Wright. Elsie Mae b 21 April 1930 d 06 Sept 2013 She married Wayne (Shorty) Kelsey; Duane Howard b 19 Sept 1931 lives in Casa Grande, Az, married Nadine Motter; Edna Faye b 14 Mar 1935 married Francis Evans and Maynard Helmuth and lives in Loveland, Co. I am the oldest grandchild and Mary Jane's daughter. So glad we could connect. Let me know if I can add anymore to the family story. Micki

RE: Stilwell Fisher correction
I am the eldest granddaughter of Frank Fisher and Ethel (Houser) Fisher. My mother was Mary Jane Fisher Wright.

thanks for making the correction, it seems that in the past people didn't pay as much attention to correct spelling as they should have.

Are you related to Merle Skinner ? I seem to remember that name.

Thanks again, Micki ears123@sbcglobal.net

No relation that I know of. This line came in from
Aberdeen, Scotland to Wooster, Mass. and then out here to the west coast. There are several out here in this area that I am not related to also.
