I've recently noticed that some Photos I've submitted need to be rotated. During the submission, these appeared to be OK. I'm working on correcting these. If you notice any photos that I've submitted that need attention, please let me know!|
I grew up in Eutaw, AL and currently live in Atlanta, GA. I'm a Location Scout/Manager for Film & TV. I've been a "cemetery enthusiast" since my early High School years. Since then, I've photographed and noted graves across the country and am currently in the process of digging these up and posting them here.
Coordinates are taken from Handheld GPS Units & from photo metadata when photo is taken w/ camera phone. The Handheld GPS is always given priority when a reading exists. I always confirm that the coordinates AT LEAST put you in a reasonable area of the Cemetery,... If not, I don't post coordinates at all. If you find error or have better coordinates than any that I've listed, please let me know.
*** NOTE TO FRIENDS & RELATIVES ***
If you find the grave of a Friend or Loved One that I've posted and would like to make any changes or additions to the record, then please notify me and I'll be glad to make these changes or TRANSFER "management" of the record to you if this would be more appropriate.

|Jay Huston Edwards||RE: G.W. Edwards Sponsorship|
GW Edwards was the brother of my ancestor , Jackson Edwards, the sons of Isaac Edwards, Jr and Rachel Miller. I have been unable to locate Jackson Edwards, but his son Elisha Edwards (1847-1925) has a memorial on Find A Grave! With a picture no less ! His son , John P. Edwards ( 1871-1961) was my great grandfather.

Hi, Craig. Thank you for the sponsorship on Jerry. If he is a closer relation to you than to me, or if you have a particular interest in maintaining his memorial, I will transfer to your care. Just let me know.

The Sam Greer photograph you have, he died in 1855 before the start of the war.
Not sure what happened to this end of the message or maybe I am just getting old and THOUGHT I typed it??

In Oakwood that you have placed on this memorial: Find A Grave Memorial# 15970421, please remove them. It is definitely NOT a photograph of S. Greer's grave.
|Sabrina K. Combs||Nancy Abercrombie|
Thanks for getting the photo of Nancy Abercrombie's grave. I appreciate the time you took to go out and get it! Now that I have a birth and death date for her, I just might be able to break through that brick wall that I've been stuck at in my research!
|Wynell McElrath Marlow||Harriett Eviline Whitmire Simmons|
Thank you for all your time and effort to post photos! I am researching my husband's family. Harriett was his gg grand Aunt. May I have permission to use your photos in my family tree? Credit will be given to you as photographer.

By the way...If you are ever in Concourse D at Atlanta Intl. Airport there is a permanent display of Cicero C. Simmons' (my husband's 1st cousin) photos of life around Talmo, GA. from early 1900's - around 1925.
Again thanks for being a part of Find a Grave.
