I take a lot of photos of the headstones at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Many are dim and are hard to read the inscription. If anyone asks me, I can retake any photo under different lighting conditions and try to make it easier to read.

A few years ago, I transcribed a lot of the Internments at Restlawn Memorial Park:
http://www.usgwtombstones.org/texas/elpaso.html

I recorded over 25,000 burials.
The office claimed years ago that there were over
33,000 Internments there.
When I first started the project, I was allowed full access to the office on Saturday mornings. The manager let me use the Sexton records, plat maps, etc.
When the cemetery was sold, the new manager informed me that I was no longer welcome in the office. I had to do the rest by reading each tombstone.
Since I have 23 relatives Interred at Restlawn, I feel that I should have been allowed to finish the project.
Restlawn will NOT give out a grave location unless the requestor is a direct relative.
For that reason, I will limit my volunteer duties to Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
At Ft. Bliss National Cemetery, a grave location will be appreciated, but not necessary.

My mother and fathers graves
This makes me so sad to hear you are not able to work with one of the cemetarys. I have family at both cemetarys. I was adopted at 5 months old I came to know my parents when I grew up. You took a picture of my Das head stone. this is it Fort Bliss plot section BB site 98. My mother is buried next to him Darlene T Price. I have a baby brother who drown when he was 9-12 years of age I don't know if he is buried next to him. His name was Tracey Price he died in the 60's best I remember. I also found my Grandfather at the other cemetery you mention Harry Theodore Price I think my grandmother may be buried near him and possiably Tracey I remember her saying that he was buried next to where they would be buried. It has been a long struggle trying to connect to my past. If you are able to help in any way I would so greatly appreciate it.
Thank You Debora Louise Price ( McCord)

Finding a Grave
Mr. Charles Brown,
Thank you so much for getting the pitcher of the stone for me. I am his youngest daughter and have not been back in Elpaso for many years and when my mother passed and was buried with my dad I was not able to go to her funeral so this meant so much to me to finally be able to see my parents back together.
Thank you so much

Thank you for photographing my brother's headstone!
Thank you so very much for adding a photo of my brother's headstone (Michael Purcell, Fort Bliss). What a kind thing to do for our heroes! From a grateful sister.

William Gordon's Headstone
Hi, again. It appears you will have to remove the additional pics. I'd like to keep the one that appears to be taken under the darker skies. Thanks!

RE: William Gordonís headstone
Charles, Thanks so much for getting a picture of my Uncle Bill's gravestone. I think I liked the one that seemed to appear under the more overcast skies, rather than the ones in bright sunshine. I'll remove the others. Thanks for your time and effort!
