My husband and I have been doing Genealogy for the last 15 yrs or so. We love to walk the cemeteries and take pictures of the Beautiful old stone's. So many, because of the weather and mother nature, are going to be gone to us, if they aren't captured in pictures.|
I have access to many old obituaries from Ozark County Mo. and have been trying to add them to Find A Grave as I have the time to. If I add a picture or Obituary or any other information,to your immediate family that you would like removed, please contact me by the Edit tab and I will remove it from the page in question
Find A Grave is a great tool for Researchers, But more than that it is an absolutely Fantastic Place to give Memory to our loved one's.
Thank you FIND A GRAVE!
** THAT BEING SAID!! It is very irritating to spend time checking (I check at least 3 different way's before I post) to make sure you are not duplicating a memorial, and working to do the best you can on posting a comforting and pleasing Memorial for a family, then go back to do an update, and find another contributor has posted the same memorial with a number WAY before your posting number. Enough said!! If this is a problem with the system not showing them, then FAG/ANCESTRY needs to get it fixed. As it's causing problems and hard feelings!!
Additional NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE OBITUARY'S ON THE "LEAVE A FLOWER" BUTTON. I WILL REPORT IT AS ABUSE, AS THAT IS NOT WHAT THE LEAVE A FLOWER PORTION IS FOR!!
If you have information to add please send it to me and I will add it, if it's information I don't already have. I always try to add information as it is posted. So it may take a day or too, But after posting the memorial, I always go back and check for updates.

|Doris JOA||RE: Leslie Lee Jones|
Leslie was a 1st cousin. I was much younger and met him infrequently as he was already married by the time I came along. Thank you for your good work. Doris
|P. Oliver||RE: Celia Ward-Halford|
I double checked with the cemetery and she is not buried under either Ward or Halford. Sorry.
|P. Oliver||RE: Celia Ward-Halford|
Yes, it would be important to know what name she was buried with. Good luck.

I was wondering if you are related to Ruby Clark Plumb.
Thank you Donna

I had created a Memorial for my father, Gene Jens after I returned home from the funeral. Afterwards it was pointed out to me your memorial had already been created. I deleted the duplicate I had made, and dam requesting you transfer ownership please.

I did, thank you for your gracious response. I find following Find-A-Grave guidelines confusing at times, too...and sometimes don't. (I know, a real maverick.)
|James Wilson||Mary Daily Memorial#133560266|
Hi-you left a correction for this lady's memorial to make the surname "Daily-Jennings". I just want to ensure that how her monument is marked. Find-A-Grave recommendations are: Q: "How should I enter all married names for a woman's memorial when she was married more than once?
A: The 'last name' should be the name that is on the headstone. Other married names should be included as part of the biography section. The 'maiden name' should only be her maiden name. Unless the maiden name is hyphenated, no part of the name should contain any punctuation.
Thanks for all you do at Find-A-Grave.
|Marti Jennings||John William Mahan|
John William is my grandmothers father. She is the youngest of the 13 children John William had. Her name was Virginia (Virgiie) Mae Mahan-Jones who eventually settled in Pasadena TX. Thank you for posting this!
