I am originally from Hartsville, Darlington, Florence area of South Carolina. I am related to the Watkins, Williams, Browns, Kelleys , Kellys, McDonalds, and many many more. This is a great site for building family history to pass on to our children and grand children. God Bless and have a glorious day!|
King James Version (KJV)
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
P.S. Please take a moment to visit the memorial for Morgan Thompson . We went to High School together. Morgan was an orphan and had been living in the Boy's Home for a number of years. He had been talking for a couple of years about joining the Army as soon as he was old enough so he could get out of the Boy's Home. He joined the Army and came by school to show us his uniform. He had a smile from ear to ear! I will never forget how proud he looked in his dress uniform. He had just completed basic training and was on his way to Vietnam. A few short months later we got word that Morgan had been killed in combat. God bless you Morgan. You made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Freedom is not free. Through the sacrifices of many thousands of men and women like Morgan we have freedom. He was only 18! Cherish this freedom and never let it be taken away.

****FIND A GRAVE will not allow this photo( which I now have set as my profile photo) to be placed in the photo area of memorials. Why? Because Find A Grave feels it is not an image that is personally attached to the deceased.
I as a wife of a Veteran and the grandmother of an active soldier feel the USA FLAG is personally attached to every veteran, after all they fought to defend it and served under this "image" IF that is not a personal attachment to the deceased veteran, then what is folks? So to the veteran's families who I had include this flag of HONOR to their memorial it was NOT removed by me but by Find A Grave. I am truely sorry that we can't show the image of our American Flag, that Veterans proudly served under, at half mask which is a sign of the quality of being thankful, appreciation for and to honor them.
I shot the photo at the Jacksonville National Cemetery as the US Flag is only at half mask Mon -Friday when a Veteran is being laid to rest. No copywrite was broken as I am the owner of photo.

Yes, I am a relative
Mollie May Wingate Roper and Lewis Washington Roper are my grandparents.
The other memorial is owned by tjward. I have not contacted him. But, I will.
I suppose you two have to get together and merge the memorials.
|Jerry Bennett||RE: Mollie Kelly.|
Great, I appreciate the quick response.
When I started to add Links to Mollie's parents I found there is another memorial for mollie.
your # 99130194
the other # 108555930
What should be done about that?
|Betty Atkinson||RE: Thank You!!|
I've not called the cemetery yet. will do that. Nellie was his wife in one of the census records but we don't know what happened there, whether there were children, etc...so will call the cemetery and see what they can provide..
