Both my parents were only children and never talked much about family. Through my love of genealogy I have learned what I know about my ancestors. |
Most of the memorials I have made are for relatives of my family or of my late husband's. Please send a SAC if you have additional information or corrections. I will make them as soon as possible.

Dear Eleanor, THANK YOU so much for Georgia (Hopson) Lamar's memorial transfer! Many, many thanks! Charlet (Emery) Roskovics
|Charlie Faye Dickerson Young||Hello|
Just saying Hi, we have corresponded in the past regarding genealogy.
|Charlet Roskovics||Georgina Hopson Lamar|
Dear Eleanor, I am wondering if you are related in any way to Georgina (Hopson) Lamar. Her father, William Allis Hopson and his brother fought in the Civil War with William as a Confederate and Edward as a Union soldier. My great grandmother, Elizabeth (Hopson) Baker was their sister. I have several transcripts of letters between the brothers and their siblings during the war plus a family Hopson photograph I'd love to share if you are a descendant! Cheers, Charlet Emery Roskovics, Massachusetts
Sorry I don't see any proof there- only that her name was said to be Rebecca Ann Lamar- in the profile.

Eleanor would you please transfer all the Martins to me that are buried in Martinvilles Tx. I need to edit some of them and add pictures as well.
|Sandra Gwilliam||Henry Clay Fuller duplicate|
I will see if the Find a grave staff can merge the memorials for Henry Clay Fuller.
I am related to his mother's Hall family.

Thank YOU for all you have done, and continue to do. If I can help, don't hesitate to call. Arnett Edward Colson Jr.
|Arnett E. Colson Jr. (Ed)||Thanks.|
Thanks for all your work Eleanor. My dad was Arnett E. Colson. Dad did not talk much about his family. My mother Fern (Cook) Colson talked a lot about hers. I have learned so much from your work. I found your work on the web. Thanks again and God Bless You. Sincerely, Ed. My dads fathers name was James Lorraine Colson but they called him Lo or Low which is short for Lorraine.
|Tereza||Abraham Jordan's brother and father|
Hi! I was wondering if you knew anything about Abraham's brother William Jordan or their father Henry A. Jordan. I'm descended out of William's line through his son, John Henry, by his second wife Ann E. Jordan.

I spotted a substantial headstone for W J Marshall 1836-1909 #75992165 in Temple City Cemetery. He seems to badly need a family. I admire the web you've built of the Marshall family and think you ought to request transfer of his memorial to your care.
I'm especially pleased about your work, concerned that our friend, pastor and cousin have his family recorded. Fourth cousin through the Goodman line, Melvin A Marshall 1906-1991, gr-son of William and Elizabeth Goodman Marshall, was important to our family in Houston as pastor of Lindale Baptist Church, officiating at a number of family funerals.
I've just gotten into Graves, and need to look further for their resting place in Houston.
