Bio Photo Both my parents were only children and never talked much about family. Through my love of genealogy I have learned what I know about my ancestors.

Most of the memorials I have made are for relatives of my family or of my late husband's. Please send a SAC if you have additional information or corrections. I will make them as soon as possible.

Belle Virginia Sammons Marshall
Hi Eleanor,
Your record of Belle Virginia Marshall #39663523 indicates her maiden name was Sammons. Belle was my grandmother's (Minnie Irene Marshall Nale) mother and I have been unable to trace back any information about her. Do you have any information about her or know how you found out that Sammons was her maiden name? Anything would be helpful.

Thank you,
Larry Nale

RE: Charlotte Lamar Soutter d'auxy
Hello, Eleanor
I have a question about the Lamar family, especially Rebecca Lamar. I am looking for the narrative she wrote about the steamship accident that claimed the lives of most of Gasaway Bugg Lamar's children. This was a few years ago and I cannot seem to find it now via google. Can you locate a copy for me? Thanks so much for all your help. Gael

Alain Colson
search from Belgium
Can somebody help me with this:
I am trying to find the maiden name of Eleanor Colson, born in Clarksburgh, WV around 1907, probably deceased in Colombus, OH. She was the spouse of Ferdinand Colson, born on 06/09/1905 in Vaux-sous-Chevremont, Liege, Belgium. They were living at Innis Avenue, Franklin, Ohio at the 1940 US census.
Her maiden name and exact dates of birth and death would be welcome for me!
Thank you in advance,
Alain Colson, Visé, Liège, Belgium.

RE: Update
Not a problem. Just noticed you had done lots of work on Find A Grave and was offering to take on management of some of the Aldridge and Rogillio lines of they are too time consuming for you. Thanks for all the work you do.

RE: William Lee Ellis
SO sorry about that. If I remember rightly, someone requested a photo for William Lee Ellis (d. 1957) but requested it through the wrong memorial. I've deleted the photo from your memorial and added it to the correct one. Again, my apologies. Sometimes I work fast and don't catch errors like that!

Management of Records
If you are no longer involved with Find A Grave and want to transfer management of your records to me, I will be glad to manage them for you. I am using Grif's book to try and do some relationships and I share many of your relatives also. Just an offer, #19533032.

You may want to update bio and delete reference to son and daughter as they should now show up as links. Just trying to help out! Thank you for all you are doing. Joy

The photo of Benjamin Wright you added on his page is that the father 1817 - 1900 or is it the son Benjamin Bachelor Wright 1843 - 1936. Both men have the first name of Benjamin.

Charlotte Lamar Soutter d'auxy
Charlotte had four children. You are missing Robert Soutter, who was a well respected orthopedist in Boston. I believe he died in 1933 in Boston from sepsis acquired from a pediatric patient upon whom he was operating. The patient survived. Dr. Soutter did not.
