I am a niece of Lloyd "Pete" Herbert Hughes, who was a Medal of Honor Recipient. Researching his life has been an honor and a privilege. Here are his crew members of the "Ole Kickapoo."|
I adopted the Bodan Cemetery in Pollok, Angelina County, Texas, USA because of the many relatives of mine who are buried there. About 40% of those buried there are related to me.
You have my permission to use the grave marker photographs I have uploaded in any genealogy project. They are not one-of-a-kind photographs. You certainly do not, however, have my permission to use my photographs of family members in some money making scheme. Don't laugh, it has already been tried - and stopped.
The transcription of the grave marker on any memorial is important. Please add them. If you have a problem with adding transcriptions of the grave marker, please take it up with Find A Grave. They have a field for it, they, and I, ask that you fill it.
I registered on Find A Grave on 9 Jul 2001 when there were "only" 2.5 million memorials. For some reason, I didn't create my first memorial until 29 Jul 2001.

The memorial has now been added to the correct cemetery. Thank you.

Dear RaJordan, I have question on the Jordan Family of Harden County Texas which traces back to 1812 in Texas. Have you traced any of the Jordan lineage to the Revolutionary War? I'm anxious to find out if able to join the SAR or DAR.
Thank you very much,

As I was looking through our family one more time, I came across another memorial #106287041 for J S Clower in Nashville Cemetery in Howard County, Arkansas. I feel this may be a duplication of yours. Take a look and see. I wonder if this info was taken from cemetery records...Have a great one...Orza

Yes, you may use the photos. Thanks for asking.
|Wilma Drew||RE: Mayes|
Yes, thank you. I will try that - it may be a few days before I can get it done as we have just moved and I don't have a lot of time for working on here right now. But I will take care of it.
You recently sent me 3 duplicate listings for Willie, Stonewall & Julia Mayes. I have tried to get someone from Findagrave to merge these entries. My entries were made previous to those of Genealo - his has more details. I believe his cemetery entry is technically the correct one. I do not know what else to do to get them merged.

I sent an edit to change Mike's name from "Ray" to "Mike". I knew Mike personally.
