I have been researching since 1992. Geraldine McKinnie Weir (1932-2002), my father's cousin, taught me so much about genealogy. I really miss my dear cousin and friend Geraldine. In 1994, Geraldine helped me become a member of Daughters of the American Revolution. I now have 13 DAR ancestors, and I established two of the ancestors. My DAR ancestors are John Cole, Jesse Cook, John Garrard, William Barron, John Barron, 2nd Lt. Miles Gathright, Ensign Walter Poole, Major Croom, Zadock Bussey, George Bussey, Josiah Norris, James Patrick and Captain James Green.|
In 1993, Geraldine found our Mayflower ancestors Stephen Hopkins and Giles Hopkins. Stephen Hopkins was a Signer of the Mayflower Compact. Stephen Hopkins was also to Jamestown, Virginia before his voyage on the Mayflower in 1620. On the voyage to Jamestown, he was shipwrecked in Bermuda with John Rolfe. In 1999, I became a member of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants. I also joined the Jamestowne Society. I am a member of nine lineage societies. My ancestor for United States Daughters of 1812 is James Norris. Lt. William Smithson is my ancestor for Dames of the Court of Honor. I am also a member of Colonial Dames XVII Century, Daughters of the American Colonists, CSDIW and Pioneers of Arkansas.
I am also very interested in German genealogy. I have ordered a lot of microfilms of actual church records at the Family History Center. The Germans kept great records. I have all of my German families back to the 1600's and 1700's with some of the lines going back to the 1400's and 1500's.
I am on FIND A GRAVE because I want to help others with their research. I also want to link my ancestors with their children.

I have some additional pictures that I thought you would want. There is not a memorial for them.
My email is on my page. Larry

Hi, I am hoping you can direct me to this
cemetery. Thanks a bunch. Larry
I see you have added some memorials there and hope you have been on site.

I did not have George Sr. in my batch from that section, but another graver took photos in the other side of that section and I have not gone through his batch yet. We went out on 11/8 and "mowed the rows" getting what we could in the time we had. I don't know when I will get out there again -- I live in Brenham.

I have fulfilled your photo request for Mary Jones in Memory Lawn Cemetery of Natchitoches, Louisiana. If this is not the correct Mary Jones, please let me know and I will delete her photos from this memorial. It was the only Mary Jones I found. I did not find Thadis Berturm Jones, but it does not mean he is not there. I could have missed him. The next time I go I will look again for him.

Gotcha, Susan ... Sounds like you've got all the bases covered here. A great weekend to you, too!
