I would very much like to see the Confederate memorial ceremony pictures if you would please e-mail them. I will try to send you some of the items about the Brook family sometime in the near future. As I mentioned they are mostly "who visited who" items but are interesting as you can pinpoint an actual time when ancestors were doing certain things.

I had some sort of brain fart when taking the photo for your request. A picture of Mr Fuller's marker was salvaged, but a better one will take its place the next time I'm at Cave Hill.

You are most welcome. I kept Josie Brook McGregor and Emma Peal Brook Wood as I am related to their husbands. I may have some more information to post on them later.

Would you like me to transfer the Brook memorials at Donald Cemetery to you? I am only related by marriage to one of them, Josie Brook. She was married to my great-great uncle, William Jefferson Roberts. W J wrote a community news column for the New Decatur Advertiser newspaper about the Neel area of Morgan County and the Brook family is mentioned in some of the columns that I have copied from the old newspapers. It concerns Brook family members who visited them, etc.

Greetings Old Bwana...Have you run across the grave or know of where it located in the Old Burleson Cemetery? I have a image of tombstone but it is so dirty and needs cleaning that the inscription is unreadable...I would like to clean it but being in Indiana that is a long shot...Randy
William served in the 16 Ala. Int. Co. E CSA
I joined the SCV here in Indiana under him.

Thank you Old Bwana. Last time we were there the cemetery was so grown up it was not possible to view the markers.
