Charles Dollfus
RE: Henry DeBoxtel (Ellisville Cem.)
No, you have been a big help and I truly appreciate it. I need to get over to the Ellisville Cemetery and look for Dollfus, DeBoxtel and O. Bynum. I have good info that Bynum is buried there. But DeBoxtel is too unusual not to be kin somewhere. Thanks again

Henry DeBoxtel (Ellisville Cem.)
Hi. My name is Charles (Mike) E. Dollfus, III from Hattiesburg, MS. I have been browsing through cemeteries etc and found Dollfus connections in Ellisville. A Charles O. Bynum married a Dollfus girl. Her name was Something like Frances, V (for Valentine). Charles O. Bynum is supposed to be buried in Ellisville. But the neat thing is, my great grandmother was Nora DeBoxtel from Wilson, La. Married John Louis Dollfus who came here from Alsace Lorraine area of France, Colmar, France. I also know that several Dollfuses lived in Laural. Do you have anything more on Henry Deboxtel?

Sunset Garden Cemetery
Is there a way to note that this was formerly known as Memory Garden? It is confusing for some of us looking at very old obituaries.

Thank you,
Marilyn Smith

Laura F McDonald
Hello,
Concerning the Find-A-Grave memorial for Laura F McDonald Memorial# 79245158. She was my Gr-Gr-Grandmother. If you are not related, I was wondering if you would please transfer her memorial to me so that I can add her family and a bio to it?

Thank you,
Larry Heckethorne

Rhonda, I have found a long lost cousin
I am curious if you know of this Leona Kirkland-Perry-Price that Susan refers to. Susan and I have William Claude Price as the common GGrandfather.
Leona is is on the findagrave as Mary Leona Perry-Price,however no information on her other than she married a Perry. Thanks, Charlotte Ann Price 10/3/2014

From Susan on Oct 3 2014:

I am currently looking for and researching the Price family in my records. William Claude Price was my ggggrandfather and he was married to Mary Jane McPherson. I, too, have had a hard time locating information on the Price family. I always thought it was because my great grandmother, Carrie Bell Price Perry, died at such a young age from tuberculosis. My grandmother was just a child when her mother died. Later, my great grandfather, James Henry Milton Perry, married Leona Kirkland who was introduced to us as Miss Leona. She was a fine woman and after my ggrandfather died she married a Mr. Price. Curious huh? My mother cannot remember his first name, just that he was a really nice man. My grandmother really thought a great deal of Miss Leona, she loved her very much. I have tried to obtain better photos of Carrie Bell Price to no avail. But I keep trying. One of my cousins, Jackie Russell, daughter of Carrie Lee Perry and my grandmother's younger sister sent me a package filled with photos which because of my illness I have not gone through properly. I am doing much better now and so I expect to be able to give you some solid information soon. I am so delighted to have found a Price cousin! One of my father's nephews married a Price who it turns out is related to both our family and my husbands. Wow. The world gets smaller and smaller. Soon, Charlotte, soon . . . more information will come. Wait for it. : ) Your long lost cousin, Susan

Hi Rhonda,
I see your created a duplicate of a memorial I had already created for my cousin Gerri. Would you be so kind as to add your picture to my memorial 38335694 and remove the newer memorial you created. Just to avoid the confusion of having two for the same person.
Here are the two memorials to which I refer.
