I am a Retired Registered Nurse, married to my High School sweetheart for 44 years. I am the mother of two boys (oops, men!), and have one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter. I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of my first grandson in mid-Jun 2013.
I am limited in what I can do physically due to residual problems following back surgery several years ago. Consequently, I spend a lot of time on my computer.
A recently developed interest in the family tree, at the behest of my son's wife, is what initially led me to the FindAGrave site. I have reached a temporary (I certainly hope it's temporary) block on the family tree work. Now, I have begun to work on Find A Grave memorials, beginning with some of my mother's family.
I am the daughter of Roy Hayman (1907 - 1982) and Olis Mae Addison Gill (1905 - 1986), I would love to walk some of the cemeteries, particularly in Meriwether, Pike, Franklin, and Stephens Counties in GA. However, that is not an option at this point. I will just have to be happy letting "my fingers do the walking" for now!
Please use the Suggest a Change feature on the memorials to request changes/transfers. Or feel free to contact me using my listed email which will also be sent to my cell phone. If the request is left on my message board, I may miss it.
