Your information on Alonzo Black on Elizabeth Mchann's biography was very helpful. I would be interesting in learning where you obtained that information, as it is my belief that Alonzo was a relative of mine. Would you be able to help?
Anneta Rebsem Grotewiel I wanted to state my reasoning behind my change of maiden name. I searched all Missouri for surnames starting with "Re". Nothing came close to Rebsem until I came to Rebsamen, 34 in Missouri, 10 Rebsamen's buried 10 miles away in the Hermann Cemetery, very likely relatives, though father Gottlieb Rebsamen I haven't found. Thanks, Mike
RE: Kampmeyer Another cem. with possibilities here in Higginsville is the Brand German Cem. I also got 2 hits on the surname Kammeyer in the Trinity Lutheran church near Alma, MO. which is just West of the intersection of Highways 23 and 20 here in Lafayette county. Have you tried going through Brunettie's books on tombstone inscriptions of Lafayette county. They are available online.. Bill
