Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy for about 5 years, and on findagrave for about the same amount of time. They go well together. I live in Washington State sometimes, and in Southern California at other times, and have contributed photographs from cemeteries in both places, and from places in between that I visit on my travels. I love cemeteries, and have had so many family mysteries solved by the fulfillment of a headstone request. My thanks to all those findagrave volunteers. I hope I have done the same for others.

Regarding my photographs, feel free to use them in your family trees. I'm not sure what all the controversy is about copyright infringement. I may be wrong, but it seems to me like the photographs are "donated" by the volunteers to the memorials. The information on the headstones more properly belongs to the family of the deceased than to the photographer. And headstone photographs are not the original artistic works that were intended to be protected by copyright laws (though I have seen some lovely headstone photographs).

That being said, I always add "photos courtesy of findagrave volunteer" to all the headstone photographs in my tree, even when I have taken them myself. But my family tree is private anyway, and I'm the only one who ever sees it. So I guess I'll just step out of this debate. But please, can't we all just get along?

RE: Babies Scherupp
Mary, I was at the Yuma Museum yesterday afternoon and looked through the obituaries. No signs of the Scherupp twins but I found this one for Freeman Edward Scherupp. It's short and doesn't have much information in it. I thought you might want to put it in the bio.

Thursday, May 2, 1918 - Wray Rattler
The 13 months baby boy of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Scherupp of Wray died last Saturday. Funeral services were held Sunday.

Thats it. REB

Mary, I knew I would eventually get to the Mildred Cemetery. I hope you are not disappointed with what I found. Read the captions under the photographs.
