I am new to genealogy (2012 is relatively new compared to most people), but I'm enjoying all of my discoveries! I am researching the Danby and Rutland, Vermont branches of these families: Bromley, French, McGowan, Ackert, Baker/Belanger, Crosby, as well as the New Jersey and New York City families of Lynch and Rooney. I have a variety of research interests in New England, Canada, Ireland, England, and Scotland. |
I enjoy collaborating with others. If you see errors or additions for my memorials, please let me know. The work is never done!

I glanced at your profile after I responded to your message. You are researching the FRENCH surname from the Rutland, Vermont area? I'd be interested to see your connection. I am also descended from FRENCH in that area.

Yes, you may use the photo. Thank you for asking first!

They're your photos. No need for credit or permission to use them.
Thank you for asking for the photos. We had a lot of fun getting them.

Hi Rebecca, I dont have the article you are speaking about, but I do have one Titled "Old Bardwell account book turns up in Michigan" and there is a photo of Jarvis on his 100th birthday. So Yes I would love a copy of the article. I you like I could send you a copy of the one I have.

Hi Becky - Thank you for the link to Consider's mother. I don't know that I ever would have found it in Mass.

Dear Find A Grave Member:
I was working in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams,MA. today and found your Photo Request for Justine Groves. I have not yet located that memorial but I did locate two (2) Pigeon memorials, John B.(1855) and Alminda (1850) both passing in 1922. I have created memorials but find the US Census data spells the surname as "Pidgeon". I have not found Bernard as of yet and can find no census data for him living in Adams, MA. Let me know if these are relatives and if I should keep looking for either "Pigeon" or "Pidgeon". I hope this information is of some value.

Yes, Becky, the photos were in my archive. I've got a backlog of more than a thousand photos that I'm wading through and trying to upload every day. But it's a long process because I also compare each memorial with what's in my database to make sure that it's up to date, and the whole thing seems to take forever! Nevertheless, I work on it continuously and keep my fingers crossed that the backlog disappears before I go to VT in June.
