I live in Stillwater, OK.
I love doing research on Payne County, Oklahoma and surrounding counties.
Due to the death of DonZas, I am managing the memorials in Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater that he posted. I will be keeping all of the memorials that are in my family tree. And, believe me, there are alot of them.
However, if you wish for me to transfer a memorial to you, send EACH request through the "EDIT" - "SUGGEST A CORRECTION" Link on EACH person's memorial. Please allow time, because I get alot of requests each day.
REMEMBER the Find-A-Grave RULE states:
Transfer requests should be for DIRECT RELATIVES WITHIN FOUR GENERATIONS. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Uncle, Aunts, Cousins, nephews, mother's brother's first cousins, well, these don't count as a direct relative. And, yes, this part is included in the rules.
E-mail me if you have a question or if you have a request that I haven't already uploaded.
Also, I have photographed and transcribed Ripley Oak Park Cemetery and Mt. Hope Cemetery near Ripley, OK. I don't transfer these memorials, but I will add the information and links if you ask me.

Find A Grave 11385977 and Find A Grave 27263279 may be duplicates?
|Wes T.||FOREMAN, Ada McClellan Cemetery AR|
I processed your one edit on this person. Thank you.
About your suggested edit for Ada Foreman as to her maiden name, do you think that the maiden name might be "McClellan" instead of "McClelland?"
Cemetery name is McClellan... and I was just thinking the former might be more likely; or did you have a source that gave the one with "d" at the end. Let me know when you get a chance. Thanks. mobarbq at yahoo

You suggested that Jaunita Randolph #44944942 was the same person as My Juantia Bobo Randolph #171431744.
The birth and death dates of these two do not match.
Could you please provide the resource you found to supports they are the same person?
|Robert Steen||RE: Ruby Steen|
Thank you Pammy in Oklahoma! This solves the "Ruby" mystery. Now if I only could find the maiden name for Ralph's first wife Annie.
By the way, I put in a bunch of requests to transfer Steen memorials that you inherited from DonZas to me. I read in your bio that you be willing to transfer those to a relative so I asked. No big deal, just thought you might want to relieve yourself of the management.

Hello Pam; Could/would you copy the Obit you added in the Grave side and send to me and I will add it to where it belongs, in the [bio] on the information side. I always add the contributor Find A Grave#. This is under Find A Grave guide line like transfers. Please this this under the edit please. Thank you, Larry

I noticed something that you could add to the bio. On the headstone, there is an inscription of their marriage on 24 Sep 1931. Also, you could add her maiden name of Sullivan (on this memorial and on her page as well) and connect them on each other's memorial page.
|Neal Putnam||Should I put bio info?|
I was going to add some info to my mother's memorial and I wondered if I should just submit the info with Internet flowers.
Thanks for all the work you do. It is very much appreciated.
|Dan Oh||John Downing|
You've sent me several changes for this entry, but something doesn't smell right. His wife's entry says she is buried in Oklahoma, yet you say the husband died out there and was shipped back to Downingtown, Chester County, Pa for burial. That's an awful long trip in the 1830's Further, did I read she was Baptist, or was that her family? If she was not Quaker, John (Or Jeremiah) would most assuredly have been removed from a Quaker Meeting for marrying out of the faith and certainly not be permitted to be buried in a Quaker Cemetery.
I really think it is a stretch to think this John Downing is your Jeremiah Downing.
I have not declined your request, only 'ignored' if until you can provide documentation for your claim. I'm not trying to be a findagrave Nazi, just want to get the facts right. Let me know.

I'm writing re Iva and Ina Mathes McVay. They are twin sisters. Iva married Harry McVay and had two children. When Iva died Harry married her twin Ina and they raised the children. Do you know if its easy to get informational death certificates in Oklahoma? On the findagrave memorials you are managing there are two different birth dates and I'm not sure which is correct 1894 or 1895. Ina use to come to California to visit her sister Arminta Mathes Munyon (my husbands Grandmother). We remember her well. Would like to hear from you. Sandra Munyon
