Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live with my family on the far north side of Republic MO. I have always enjoyed walking through the little country cemeteries not far from my home. I like to go so I can recall some fond memories of the folks that lived around here when I was growing up. Back then it was almost like having grandparents in every farm house in the neighborhood! When I came across the Find A Grave site I was very impressed with the hard work that so many people have put into this. I just want to be a part of helping to preserve some memories of people that were and still are...loved.

RE: Emmett Budka McChesney
Julie - What a strange coincedence your note to me was. I spoke with the cemetery caretaker today. He informed me about Mollie McChesney site (Section D Row 1 (I believe that's the row #). He said there was no headstone/marker for Emmett but he could tell there was another burial next to Mollie. At this point, firmly believe that's where Emmett is. I will add Mollie's info on Find A Grave. Any chance you could post the photo you took after I've done that? Need until this Saturday to do that.
I so appreciate you and your Mom doing this for me. Best regards, Vergie McChesney Allen

Julie:
Thank you. The photo of my wife's third great aunt is a testament to the men and women who went before us to settle the west as our country grew. Louisa, Sarah's sister, would eventually move on to Oregon with her husband Doctor James Cole and settle what is now known as Cole's Valley.
Your efforts are sincerely appreciated.

RE: Emmett Budka McChesney
Julie - I come from a long line of Kansas farmers, so I know how busy you can get during harvest time AND I've waited 2+ years to find Emmett, another wait I can handle. I truly appreciate whatever you can do for me.
Best regards, Vergie McChesney Allen
