I've been cemetery hopping since about 1964, started in Wyoming where I was raised.
Moved to MA in Nov 1992 and started hunting in a new direction.
Any pictures that I have submitted and anyone would like cleaned and retaken I would be honored to do so for you, as the years go by more things collect on the stones as they do still today with all of us.
feel free to drop a line I'll help in any way possible.
as always stay safe and thank our past for our future for without it we wouldn't be here.
NOTE TO ALL: The unknown dates are due to a name only list given me by the town cemetery dept. Most times meaning that there is no stone there and a look into the town records will provide dates. At this time I'm trying to get this one towns 9 cemeteries online and will go to town records upon completion of enteries to fill in the dates as best possible. Sorry for the inconvenience, please keep checking back for updated enteries of dates.
Virginia Brown #67524458 & Jerry Brown #44760315 Hi :) I just wanted to let you know that I linked Otis F. Brown to his parents. I saw your note on Ervin's memorial. I'm not related, just walking Geary Cemetery where Otis is buried. Happy Easter!
RE: horace ramsdell # 51142350 My pleasure. It has been a couple years since I photographed all of the Andersonville stones and it appears that the ground around the stone has recently been leveled exposing more of the stone.
Canfield Decendent Hello hello!! I am new to this, and very excited to get in contact with other people in my family, and learning my ancestry. I am the great granddaughter of Merle Glen Canfield. I have been looking on Ancestry.com and this site. It seems you have a lot of info on the Canfields. Let's get in touch :) Thank you!! Brittany
RE: horces ramsdell # 51142350 This headstone was placed in 1898. Unfortunately some of the civil war headstones have settled over the years and this I some of them. The only thing not seen is the first letters and last of his name,,, and MICH for the state he served. You can see the stones on either side are also settled deep.
I also have a facebook for descendants of Andersonville prisoners. Your welcome to join.

Kenneth Louis Abare On December 25th you sent me a SAC with a bio for Kenneth. With it being the holidays, I was not spending much time on here, and was actually out of state with my family.
My email service has recently switched my in box and views. I am working at cleaning it up. My point is this....... I apologize for not getting your bio added to the memorial for Kenneth sooner!!! I really try hard to handle memorial requests within a day or two of receiving them.
I am so very sorry about the mix up. I have added it to his memorial, and given you credit.
