I inherited the genealogy bug from my mother. I ran across F.A.G. while trying to find information on ancestors. I believe F.A.G. is a wonderful site to find missing family links.|
When photographing, I go row-by-row. I am not a greedy request-claimer who will go out, take a single pic, and run back to post it. From a genealogy perspective, I want to know if there are other family members in the cemetery that I may not already know of. Also, if someone has previously posted a pic of the headstone and I get a better one (I am using a HD camera), I will add mine as well.
If you would like me to transfer management of a memorial, please send me the request, and your relationship to that person. I try to transfer to family members if possible!
***** If you send me a message stating "this memorial is a dupe, please delete," please make sure the other memorial has at least as much information and pics as the one in my control. Otherwise it will remain as-is!!!
****If you would like me to add an obituary to a person, you MUST provide me with citation information!!!!!!!!

Hello Melissa my name is Warren Johnson, grand son of Wesley Johnson buried in the Johnson Cemetery at Crocker MO, and my grand mother was Elizabeth buried together there.
my great grand father was Marion Jasper Johnson and Sarah Ann, I'm wondering where in the cemetery you found the two unmarked stones you put on Find A Grave, I have been all over that cemetery

Melissa, My wife may be a distant relative of Eliza Sumpter, wife of William Sumpter. If they are relatives, they were both born (and married) in England. William was a minister.
How would I go about getting a copy of her obituary, to confirm the family connection. According to the headstone you photographed she died December 10, 1903 and is buried in Fairbury, Nebraska. Who should I contact to get a copy of her obituary? Thanks.

Thank you for the
transfer. After doing more searching, I see that you are also the admin for a few more of my family that I would like to take over.
Harry Kinzie (my Great Grandfather)
Hallie May Kinzie (my Great Grandmother)
Robert Lee Gates (my Mother's twin)
Flossie Mae Kinzie (my Aunt)

I just found that you created a memorial for my Grandfather Walter Gates who is buried in the Fairbury Cemetery. My Grandmother recently passed away in December and I decided to do some searching online for ancestory information.
Could you please transfer their memorials to me?
I would greatly appreciate it.

I worked for a home health agency several yrs ago and he was a client. I saw him bright and early every Monday morning for almost 3 yrs. He was ornery but a very nice gentleman.
Placing a red heart next to a name of a friend or loved one is just my way of saying "I care that you lived in this mixed up world"

There is a picture said to be Wilson the father on Ancestry in someone's tree. They might give you permission to post that picture on Find A Grave.

If you ever get to this cemetery again, would you have time to try to read his headstone for me?

You posted a photo of his headstone and I am wondering if you might still have the original? I cannot read the inscription on the posted photo. Do you by chance have a transcription?
