Please don't think that I am picking on you but I noticed it when I was posting photos. If you ever find a mistake on me, send it to me so I can correct it. I am only trying to clean up some of the mistakes that I find. Gene

Hi Kennetta, So glad that you liked the photos we took. We always take one close-up photo of the marker, and then one of the area. As for the other markers beside Floyd's - we don't remember the names. I did, however, go on Ancestry after reading your posting and found a Virginia M. Eyer who was born on May 15, 1917, and passed on on
May 29, 2009 in Sarasota,Fl. It had a brief bio/obit on her and said that her children were Virginia A. Hogan of Sarasota and Gloria E. Shupp on Philadelphia. A sibling is listed as John S. Krause, Jr. of Sewell, N.J. The funeral home is the Colonial Funeral Chapel Home....don't know if that's in Sarasota or elsewhere. Hope this helps you out. (We don't get up to Sylvan Abbey that often, but we can still put it on our 'list' and check the area the next time. I have a feeling that she's buried elsewhere though.)

You're very welcome, Kennetta! It was my pleasure.

A lot of times a headstone was not put on. If you find it is a different location let me know and I will go look.

You are so welcome. I really enjoy doing this and am especially happy when there actually IS a stone to photograph! (Sometimes you can find the grave easily enough on the city cemetery map, but alas, there is no marker. Sad.) Have a great weekend! Eileen

|Flutterby||RE: East Montcalm Cemetery|
Thank you for your response! I am relying on a 1904 genealogy that cites a "Sterns Cemetery about four miles north of Greenville, Michigan." The person I am looking for is not on the survey for East Montcalm, but the location of the cemetery is on the mark. I appreciate you interest. :-)
