|One Final Gift|
Scatter me not to restless winds
Nor toss my ashes to the sea.
Remember now those years gone by....
When loving gifts I gave to thee.
Remember now the happy times....
The family ties we shared
Don't leave my resting place unmarked
As though you never cared.
Deny me not one final gift
For all who come to see....
A single lasting proof that says
I loved....and you loved me.
by D. J. Kramer
Find A Grave volunteers have connected me
to family, and I count it a privilege
to help others connect with family or friends.
It saddens me when there is no headstone
or it's broken and illegible. I guess that's why I like the poem....everyone needs to be remembered.

Can you send me an email at email@example.com? I talked to one of my cousin's down in WV and he wanted me to call his dad for info. Being that he was born in 1885 there might not be a recorded birth certificate for him. I'm not sure when West Virginia started recording birth and death records. If I'm able to talk to my cousin over the phone I can probably give you his phone number if it's ok with him.

Thanks for posting location for Albert and also making a memorial for Emma and posting photo. I did not know he was married. I found him in 1940 census but he was still single. I have obit. date from Hayes Center but can't find actual obit. from Amherst News-Times.
I appreciate your help.

Oops, I forgot to thank you for taking the photos. Thanks! I don't get back to the area very often anymore.

Sorry for the confusion, I don't know why I put "1930" for obituary, my records showed "1956". Thanks for pointing that out to me. I have corrected my memorial.
