Bio and Links
Bio Photo Beth (Jorgensen) Sparrow living in Polk County, Nebraska. Have photos and information on the following surnames: My father's line: Hanks, Fields, Jorgensen, Foster, Lindsay in Nebraska, Illinois, Germany and Denmark.
My mother's line: Seggerman, Regnier, Junker, Michels, Barber, Sickmon in Nebraska and Illinois, Germany, France, and back to England thru Mayflower passengers.

Have photos and some information on my husband's family: His father's line: Sparrow, Foresman, Richart, Hubbard from Illinois and back east. Currently trying to gather records for my husband's Richart line back to the Mayflower.
His mother's line: Patterson, Thompson, Waterman, Smith and Krieg from Illinois and eastern states.
I also have researched my step-mother-in-law's family: Smith, Steward, Flick, Hill, Hughes, Whitacre, Cross and Glass from mainly Illinois, Indiana and east.

Please see my virtual cemeteries for specific relatives in these lines, and please contact me if you are related to any of these families. I like getting in touch with distant cousins.
Let me know if you want me to transfer someone so you can add more info to a relative. If someone is not my relative, I will usually transfer. Please state your relation in your requests for transfer.
Polk county cemetery info came from the cemetery or from the city/cemetery records. Polk county marriage info comes from the clerk's office at the county courthouse.
I am an avid cemetery photographer fulfilling requests in Polk county and trying to photograph all cemeteries in Polk county (where I live). I will add partial obituaries; I will not add living (surviving) relatives of recent deaths.
IF you use my photos in an online tree, PLEASE give credit by saying "courtesy of Beth Sparrow". It's very annoying to see your own photo in an Ancestry tree with no credit given. And you KNOW it's your photo because the bird poop is in the same place.

RE: Emil Gustafson
Thank you for getting back to me. John isn't his father. Emil and family settled in Douglas County, Omaha. I'm pretty sure that is where Harry Emil and son, Walter Wilbur Gustafson are buried. After Emil's death, his wife Lucinda remarried and relocated to La Cross Wisconsin with Walter. I have Walter's obit. It does state that Walter's body would be return to Omaha And be buried in West Lawn. West Lawn says neither Harry Emil nor Walter are there. I'm wondering if I was to get a death certificate if it would show something different. Where ever they are, I believe they are in same cemetery.
Thank you again,

Emil Gustafson
I'm looking for info on my great great grandfather, Emil Gustafson. Emil first married Hedvig Petersen. Hedvig died in 1920. They had a son, my great grandfather, Harry Emil who married Lucinda Williams. They had two sons, Walter Wilbur (burial place in Nebraska unknown) and my grandfather, Harry Benjamin. Harry Emil died at what I'm guessing to be about 1921 which I am unable to find his resting place. Emil then married Nellie Matilda Johnson Gustafson (1875 - 1949)*. From what I have learned, the story of Emil and Nellie Matilda Johnson is quite interesting. I know nothing of Nellie's family. Is this part of your family or do you know anyone researching this family that could shed some light for me?

Thank you,

Angela Gustafson Perry

Thanks so much for your time and efforts in fulfilling my photo request. Here is another tree line of my family tree that has came from Nebraska. I have so many Nebraskan families in Nebraska that I should just move there. Thanks again for all you do for others. I hope your efforts never go unnoticed. Thanks!!

Edits for Parents and Name
I have left information to be corrected for Elin Gestrine Oquist record. Her parents are incorrectly listed as well as her middle name. She is my husband's aunt and I can provide a copy of her obituary if needed. Thanks so much.

RE: Knau photo
You're welcome. I am shocked that I missed putting that photo up several years ago as I had that section finished but missed that one. I have also added the photo of the exact location of Cora Julia Knau Siemon.
