I live in the North GA mountains and love it. My favorite pastime is roaming cemeteries and taking pics, not just for myself but for others.
Always excites me when it helps someone who is unable to get it themselves. Glad to help, and if you need transfers or anything, don't hesitate to ask. I'll be glad to help you any way I can.

My lines in Franklin County and Banks County are Kesler/Segars/Cheek/Norton. Barrow County, GA - Attaway/Peppers/Greeson/Cheek.

Re: Memorial # 89232786 for Hiram DeWitt LeCroy
You asked about the name "Hiram" when the headstone simply reads "DeWitt Lecroy." I have added information in his bio from the "Georgia, Deaths Index, 1914 - 1927." Name: Hiram Dewitt Le Croy. The rest of the information in the Georgia, Death Index has also been included in his bio. The name "Hiram D Lecroy" is documented in both the 1910 and 1920 census records for his birth family. DeWitt LeCroy was married to Bernice "Babe" Williams for two short years before his death in 1924. Bernice "Babe" Williams was the last of nine daughters born to my great grandparents Eppy and Effie Williams. Aunt Babe is my Great Aunt, and information about Dewitt LeCroy's given name is also from (albeit sometimes incomplete) knowledge of our family history. I also updated the burial information for DeWitt LeCroy's father and mother and added your photo of the headstone to both memorials: # 88883453 and # 89138185. Thank you for your interest and assistance in helping me to keep my information accurate. Please feel free to double check all of the above. Linda

RE: Lydia Moose @ Hunter's Creek
Pat, Thanks for the info regarding Lydia Moose. I was initially in a quandary as to how to list the name on the memorial. For now, I am not going to change anything regarding the listed name. I will add a note prior to her biography detailing the inscribed name on the headstone. I have no problem with the duplicate memorial. I don't know if you might want to add a short note regarding her name as information obtained from her granddaughter. With your memorial, she can be searched under "Moose." With this memorial, she can be searched under the family name "Addison." It is a shame that her name cannot be searched under her maiden name of "Williams." Oh, well.

RE: Charles & Ruby Gillespie @ Grey Hill
Dear Pat,
Yes, they did. This is correct and with a tragic note. I will relate it to you sometime.
I appreciate your recent thank you note about prompt editing etc.. Also, a lady that goes by "Beth" has apparently photographed all of my memorials at Grey Hill. She has been busy there. I have gone back and updated the dates etc. using the photographs. Grey Hill is now over 80 percent photographed. Keep in touch. Bill
