Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm Pam.
I live in Stillwater, OK.
I love doing research on Payne County, Oklahoma and surrounding counties.

Due to the death of DonZas, I am managing the memorials in Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater that he posted. I will be keeping all of the memorials that are in my family tree. And, believe me, there are alot of them.

However, if you wish for me to transfer a memorial to you, send EACH request through the "EDIT" - "SUGGEST A CORRECTION" Link on EACH person's memorial. Please allow time, because I get alot of requests each day.

REMEMBER the Find-A-Grave RULE states:
Transfer requests should be for DIRECT RELATIVES WITHIN FOUR GENERATIONS. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Uncle, Aunts, Cousins, nephews, mother's brother's first cousins, well, these don't count as a direct relative. And, yes, this part is included in the rules.

E-mail me if you have a question or if you have a request that I haven't already uploaded.

I have 2 books called "Cimarron Family Legends" vol 1 and 2. These books contain information that has been compiled by families that settled all around Stillwater and the surrounding towns of the Cimarron River in Payne County. I can look up information on families if you will send me the family name and any other information that I can use. Just e-mail me with the request.

Also, I have photographed and transcribed Ripley Oak Park Cemetery and Mt. Hope Cemetery near Ripley, OK. I don't transfer these memorials, but I will add the information and links if you ask me.

Thomas Radford
Whoops--forgot to mention. Thomas's middle name is likely not Henry. He never gives his middle name in any documents, and since he had a brother named Henry, it is extremely unlikely that that would be his middle name. I can provide a list of his siblings written by his father himself which shows Thomas and Henry to be separate sons of his, making is very unlikely his middle name could be Henry. If you could replace Henry with just H, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

Memorial# 11932131
Regarding Thomas Radford, Memorial# 11932131, his year of birth as 1887 is impossible, despite what his stone indicates. His mother died in November, 1886 according to sworn statements by multiple neighbors and relatives, including her husband.

Thomas's WWI draft registration, which he signed himself, states he was born in 1885.

1885 meshes with his place in the order of his brothers, as seen in the 1900 Census, which shows he is clearly younger than his brother Syrus, who was born in 1883, according to his WWI Draft Registration, which he signed himself.

Thomas's obituary says he was born in 1882, but that would make him older than several of his siblings. Regardless, it's not possible for him to have been born in Mar 1887 when his mother died Nov 1882. If you could change his year to 1885, I would appreciate it. I can also provide his obituary to you for more information on his memorial. As it looks now, it looks strange when his mother's memorial has her year of death in 1886, but his memorial says he was born in 1887.

I can also scan the sworn statements from people that attended his mother's funeral and give her year of death if you require it. Thank you!

Looking for Picture of T.G. Burns

Looking for picture of Thurman Gilbert Burns to display at the American Legion Post 129. T.G was the 23rd commander of the Post in 1936-27. I have all pictures of all the commanders on the wall, but due to a rainstorm while putting on a new roof T. G.'s picture was destroyed. Thank you for putting information on find a grave. I am also the historian for the Post and creating the 100 year celebration of the American Legion 1919-2019 at this web site

You can look through the year by year and see his picture.

Thank you for your consideration.

If you get his picture you may take it to our Legion on main street next to the barbershop across the street from Stillwater National Bank.

I am also looking for Pictures of
Ned Hull 18th Commander 1932-33
Roland Kirkland 19th Commander 1933-34
George McOwan 22nd Commander 1935-36
Arthur A. Powell 49th Commander 1961-62

Thanks again.

Hi, are you related to George W. Ricker? If you are I'd love to talk to you! I added a picture of him on his memorial. He was a brother to my great great grandmother, Mary Ann Ricker Cottrill. Thanks
