Bio Photo I'm Pam.
I live in Stillwater, OK.
I love doing research on Payne County, Oklahoma and surrounding counties.

Please check out the webpage that the managers of Fairlawn Cemetery have created:

**********************************
Due to the death of DonZas, I am managing the memorials in Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater that he posted. I will be keeping all of the memorials that are in my family tree. And, believe me, there are alot of them.

However, if you wish for me to transfer a memorial to you, send EACH request through the "EDIT" - "SUGGEST A CORRECTION" Link on EACH person's memorial. Please allow time, because I get alot of requests each day.

REMEMBER the Find-A-Grave RULE states:
Transfer requests should be for DIRECT RELATIVES WITHIN FOUR GENERATIONS. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Uncle, Aunts, Cousins, nephews, mother's brother's first cousins, well, these don't count as a direct relative. And, yes, this part is included in the rules.

E-mail me if you have a question or if you have a request that I haven't already uploaded.

I have 2 books called "Cimarron Family Legends" vol 1 and 2. These books contain information that has been compiled by families that settled all around Stillwater and the surrounding towns of the Cimarron River in Payne County. I can look up information on families if you will send me the family name and any other information that I can use. Just e-mail me with the request.

Also, I have photographed and transcribed Ripley Oak Park Cemetery and Mt. Hope Cemetery near Ripley, OK. I don't transfer these memorials, but I will add the information and links if you ask me.

Burial Place of John Stewart and Mary Elizabeth Bowyer
I noticed you had supplied information for Clyde Clarence Barkers memorial #26231914

Clyde Clarence Barker married Mary Elizabeth McNabb daughter of Lorenzo Dow McNabb and Marcena Okla Coffman. They had a son Irick Monroe Barker on 29 August 1906. After Clyde Clarence Barker died on 15 December 1906. Mary Elizabeth married John Stewart Bowyer who had two 2 children, from his first marriage to Mariah A. Ely, Pearl Leona Bowyer McInnes b. 1898 and Ora T. Bowyer 1904.

John Stewart and Mary Elizabeth Bowyer had four more children: Theodore 1910 died abt 1926, William 1912, Marvin B. 1915 and Mary 1920 died young. Mary Elizabeth Bowyer died in 1952.

I was hoping you could help me find the burial place of John Stewart and Mary Elizabeth Bowyer, which is probably in Payne County, Oklahoma.

Deleting my great-grandmother
I received a notice that I had duplicated a grave so my entry will be deleted. I didn't mean to do anything wrong but the other grave did not mention that my great-grandmother was related to all of the other Shelleys in the Fairview cemetery. It mentioned someone who is my great aunt but didn't mention my grandfather, grandmother, or uncle. How about we delete yours and leave mine alone.

Johnston family
Hello, I am trying to find a missing branch on my family tree. My great grandfather William T McCracken of Pawnee Station, Kansas married Loretta "Ettie" Johnston. She died in childbirth. The infant girl, Alice, was raised by her Johnston grandparents. I last found Alice "MCrackin" on the 1900 census in Marion county, Missouri. Her grandparents were James Madison Johnston and wife Elizabeth (Sutton). By 1910 they were living in Eagle, Payne county, Oklahoma. I don't know when they moved there in that ten year range, but I am hoping Alice was with them, and perhaps married in Payne county. I've found no trace of her in Missouri. The Johnston are buried in Lawson Cemetery on Payne county. Alice's father must have had little if any contact with her. He remarried several years later, and his children did not even know Alice existed. I would appreciate any advice or help you have to offer to help solve this puzzle. Many thanks, Mitzi

Family of Fredrick & Elizabeth Kautz
Greetings Pammy.y name is Randy Martin, great grandson of Fredrick & Elizabeth Kautz of Elm Grove township. I've been researching this side of my family for some time but am not having a lot of luck in some areas. If you could help me I would greatly appreciate it. Most of the ten children are buried in Fairlawn cemetery. If your Cimmaron books have any information on the Kautzs that settled there, it would be a great help. If you need any information which I may have feel free to contact me at barklee11@cox.net or 316-253-4245. Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon!
