Bio Photo First I want to say a big "thank you" to everyone who leaves my twins and family tokens, I am very grateful.

My dad died in 1972 when I was 9 days old and to this day I have not been able to find his resting place which is why I do what I'm doing here as I know how hard it is to find a loved one's resting place.

I can go to cemeteries in Enfield, Edmonton, Cheshunt, Chingford, Clacton, Colchester, Feltham, Heathrow, Waltham Abbey, Walthamstow and areas around them, maybe I can go further out, all depends how far. I can help with your searching for your loved ones grave in England if your not in England. I can also help with any research you may want help with in the same areas or in the UK if you are from a different country. I have the National Burial Index, second edition and will get the third when it is available, so if you would like me to do a look up, then just ask and I will quite happily.

If there is a memorial I have done for a loved one of your family and you would like it removed/changed or transfered then please email me and I will do it for you, or if there is any mistakes or anything else wrong with a memorial I have done please let me know.

A noteworthy inscription found on a soldier’s headstone in an English country churchyard reads:

Take nothing but photographs

Kill nothing but time

Leave nothing but Footprints

All My Ancestors Are Behind Me.
"Be Still," They Say.
"Watch And Listen.
You Are The Result Of
The Love of Thousands"

Hi

Have you heard anything from your contact person at CWGC?

RE: William Kerr
Hi

I accidentally got involved with RAF and their sailors who died in a gazillion places around the world and am slowly adding their names to Find a Grave. I do look for them on Find A Grave and CWGC and CVWM but am finding the search on Find A Grave does not always work and consequentially I create the odd duplicate.
Some of us in this corner of Canada are concerned that since Find A Grave was 'taken over' by Ancestry the responses to requests has deteriorated abysmally.

I will keep on adding names but no longer hold my breath waiting for a useful response to enquiries I make.
Keep up the great work you do.

re photo
Thank you so very much for the photo of Alfred & Emma's headstone. I cried as I have spent a lot of time and money finding my ancestors and I feel close to them, even though they died before I was thought of. It is so nice to see the headstone. My father was a grave digger, in the days where it was done with a pick and shovel, and I used to go with him and visit my grandparents grave and others and talk to them an clean them up an put flowers on them. Thank you so very much .Helen Zaslona

RE: Second Refrigerator Engineer James Minshull
Thanks for the message... the full grave inscription is difficult to read (I have this type in Everton Cemetery). Next time I go over, I'll make a point of jotting down the full inscription, and inserting it on the image caption.... then I'll contact you again, for you to read in full...

RE: Aldershot Military Cemetery -photo request
I happen to be surveying that cemetery - so I thought I'd shock you with such a speedy reply to your request .

Cambridge American Cemetery and Memorial Photos
Thank you very much for your usual excellent photos for the following memorials:
- Harold P. Byars, #56288287
- Theodore K. Roberts, #56293791
- Zeno W. Mapes, #56292048
- James McDonough, #56292283
- Harold L. Rogers, #56293846
- Thomas Walker, #56295274
- Carmello Vinciguerro, #56295216

I especially like the way you lightly highlight the name within a sizeable group of names - it gives one an idea of the wall itself as well as showing where the name is located.

Again, "Thank you".

Regards,

Patricia
