Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm Pam.
I live in Stillwater, OK.
I love doing research on Payne County, Oklahoma and surrounding counties.

Due to the death of DonZas, I am managing the memorials in Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater that he posted. I will be keeping all of the memorials that are in my family tree. And, believe me, there are alot of them.

However, if you wish for me to transfer a memorial to you, send EACH request through the "EDIT" - "SUGGEST A CORRECTION" Link on EACH person's memorial. Please allow time, because I get alot of requests each day.

REMEMBER the Find-A-Grave RULE states:
Transfer requests should be for DIRECT RELATIVES WITHIN FOUR GENERATIONS. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Uncle, Aunts, Cousins, nephews, mother's brother's first cousins, well, these don't count as a direct relative. And, yes, this part is included in the rules.

E-mail me if you have a question or if you have a request that I haven't already uploaded.

I have 2 books called "Cimarron Family Legends" vol 1 and 2. These books contain information that has been compiled by families that settled all around Stillwater and the surrounding towns of the Cimarron River in Payne County. I can look up information on families if you will send me the family name and any other information that I can use. Just e-mail me with the request.

Also, I have photographed and transcribed Ripley Oak Park Cemetery and Mt. Hope Cemetery near Ripley, OK. I don't transfer these memorials, but I will add the information and links if you ask me.

Zachariah Clary
Dear Pam,

In response to your message this morning stating: "I have replied to you several times. ty"

Please view my message board. I have no other replies from you. The only other reply I have from you is dated June 15th asking for proof. After that message, I provided at lease 5 valid references proving that the name Zachariah is misspelled.

Please review the following and make the needed corrections or let me know otherwise.

All 7 of the Ancestry.com Member Trees have it spelled Zachariah. A public member story on Ancestry.com written by Clarence William Clary in 1970 has Zachariah. The 1880 census has Zachariah. The 1870 census has a nickname Gac(?). The 1860 census has Zacariah which I'm thinking was a misspelling by the census taker. A 580 page well documented book "Clary Genealogy" by Ralph & Star Rowland written in 1982 has Zachariah. I have a copy of the book. The 1840 Illinois marriage record to Harriet Wagoner shows the spelling Zachariah. The name appears in the Bible as a prophet and is spelled Zachariah.

Thanks,
Bill

Zachariah Clary
Once again, I'm requesting you correct the spelling of Zachariah on the following memorials: 19697728, 19697890, 19697893, 19697885 and 19697727.

At your request, on June 16th, I messaged you through Find A Grave providing several references of proof that the spelling is Zachariah and not Zacariah. In addition to those references, I forgot to mention the spelling on his 1840 Illinois marriage record to Harriet Wagoner is Zachariah.

Thanks for making the corrections,
Bill

Jennie Barbara Gates
Tammy,
Your photo of Jennie had "grandma" written on it. If she is your grandma, we are indeed cousins. Jennie was a 4th cousin 2x removed to me.

You list William Thomas Fowler's parents as Cody and Mary Fowler. W.T. Fowler's parents have been our "brick wall", so what reference did you use to conclude/find Cody & Mary Fowler as his parents? I am his great, great grand daughter. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

RE: William Myers Gates
Hi,
As far as the Gates are concerned, I'm related back to the marriage of Sarah Ann McMinn, who married into the Gates family. She was mother to Timothy Joseph Gates. Her mother was Elizabeth Livick and that is where our relationship starts. The brother to Elizabeth, was my direct ancestor. Are you related to Sarah McMinn Gates?

You have a photo of the headstone for William Gates (Memorial #22626799) and I was wondering if I could have your permission to use the photo on my family tree on Ancestry? I would be sure to give you credit for the photo and that it is on Find A Grave. Thank you...

Spelling of Zachariah
In reference to the spelling of my 2nd great grandfather, Zachariah Clary's first name I rechecked my sources. The name appears in the Bible as a prophet and is spelled Zachariah. Let me know if you want me to email you copies of some of my information.
