Bio and Links
Bio Photo Born and named Michael Edward Prince on December 30th, 1953 to Dolores Olson Prince and Virgil L. Prince. Was the 5th of 5 children from this marriage, the first being in 1949 or perhaps 1948. At the age of 3, went to live with William M. Gray and Stella A. Gray, as a Foster child. Was adopted by the Grays and name was legally changed to Michael Edward Gray in 1959. Grew up within miles of birth place, and in a very good suburban neighborhood. Went into the Navy directly out of High School but did not serve long enough to receive Veteran's Benefits. Was Honorably Discharged. Has worked many low paying jobs through the years, until I took sick in 1994. My condition is gradually getting worse and worse, but I still function in the fast pace of life. Today (2-16-2012) is still living within blocks of birth place. Due to losing touch with most relatives, because of deaths or relocations, has been living as a single bachelor, with the exception of a few years, and realizes the great need to preserve these precious family records. Maybe one day Uncle Mike will be remembered fondly.

Thanks for your transfer request.

As our Contributor page states, we're glad to transfer to family members (even out-of-guidelines) when we're sure we have the right person (there are 21 Marie/Maria Corderos who died in CA between 1905-1997).

Since the original records we had to work with did not contain birth/death dates, we ask that transfer requests include that information so we can do further research and cross-check interment dates and/or L.A. County death certificates if necessary.

Let us know what you have for your great-aunt's dates and we'll be glad to research further!

Beatrice Schofield
I just took the photos and will be adding them shortly. Her remains are interred next to her parents, not in the mausoleum, and also next to her is Clifford Schofield. I'm also adding photos to his memorial.

RE: Transferring management
Hi Mike. After sending you the message, I realized that I had also claimed your photo requests for your grandparents. I didn't realize that they were the same people you would be asking for transfers. I am going out there today to take the photos. Transfers are coming your way shortly. Thank you for your kind words.
Best Regards,
Bonnie

RE: Transferring management
Oh, yes, no problem. The guidelines for transfer requests are located under the heading "Help with Find A Grave." You are entitled to management of your grandparents' memorial, as it falls within the "4 generations" guideline. In this case, just let me know the names and memorial numbers and I will transfer them. Or, to supply a direct link, you can use the "Edit" tab on each of their memorials, and click on "Suggest a correction" to ask for a transfer. This is the way most people prefer, because that way, there is no chance of a typo when you are asking for a transfer, and the "Suggest a correction" provides a link to your contributor page.

Albers, Gray & Shaw
Hi Mike,

I photographed & uploaded your requests at Pacific Crest Cemetery today. In the row next to Richard & Lillian Shaw was a Valda Louise Shaw (1922 - 2007). I also photographed her & set up a Memorial. If she is also a relative & you would like her Memorial transferred to you, please let me know.

Don
