My mother, Corine Nyegaard (Farmerville, LA) began researching our family in the 1950's and I began helping her in 1973.|
I am so very thankful for all of you who take photos and share them with everyone! Photos validate research and give it visual reality. I believe in sharing all photos, so feel free to use them.
Raised in Canoga Park, CA, we now feel blessed to live at Sunset Beach, Oahu.

Thanks for posting the obit and doing the edits. I was very pleased to find another child of this Brabham family, I've worked on them several times.

Nan - posted a newspaper article on the memorial of Emanuel Jasper Martin # 69029474 Dean Cememtery - would you look at it. If it's something you could use - send your email address to me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll send a copy to you. Also, I've been working my way through the Union Parish newspaper and have several hundred digital obits - I'll share anything you want.

She is buried next to Oscar, Leo and Helge. I posted photos to their memorials as well. James
Thanks Nan for the extra push to get this recorded on his site. His mother had a very rough life. Losing two children so close together. She gave birth and then died and that child died shortly after her.

I've updated the photos of the grave markers for Albert, Mary, and Wencil Daic. I just didn't like the ones I originally submitted. The new ones are much easier to read with more sunlight on them.
I've also added the plot locations.
Also--I found the grave for Clarence A Daic and posted the photo for his gravesite. And---there is a Teoline S. Daic buried next to Clarence. I've added a memorial for her and would like to transfer that memorial to you if you like.

His Find A Grave # is 41136147. I see you have a photo can you tell me where it originated from? I believe Samuel Jordon Smith Jr had a brother Horatio Banks Smith who was my maternal great grandfather. I am unable to locate any grave for his father Samuel J. Smith Sr. Many have his mother as Loveless Elmina Ann Taunton whose grave is also unknown. If you have any thoughts on his family I would ask that you contact me via my email. email@example.com. BTW I attended school with Curtis Nygard are you related?

There is a long and interesting obit for Verne in today's (Tuesday) Oklahoman newspaper. (www.newsok.com).
Since he was an Oklahoma A&M man (now Oklahoma State University), I want to be sure he has a Great Find A Grave Memorial.
Dale from Stillwater, OK (and OSU)
My name is Vickie Sandover and I am related to the Sandovers you mentioned I wanted to thank you for all your hard work.

Yes, I'm aware of the cemetery situation. I have talked to a person who was aware of all that went on in getting access to it. He finally agreed to let certain descendants (a list was made) to have access but only if he is advised in advance. I've heard several tombstones have been made into steps down to the water for fishing access.
