I'm addicted to Genealogy so my wife says. I've been doing it for about fifteen years. Taking pictures of all the kin I never got to meet. We were told we were the last of the Reece's "NOT"!! I started out with about ten names and have over six thousand five hundred. I'm really glad there are people who will help you with your research. FindAGrave is another tool for newcomers to Genealogy and Veterans. If you find any errors or would like for us to correct the info that was supplied to us please use the edit tab then the suggest a correction (SAC) bar. |
My brother Jim & Rosa King and I are currently working on all the NC Vietnam KIA/MIA's Grave sites. After 8 years of searching, we've located all of the resting places for these brave men & women who paid the ultimate price, over 1900 of them. This doesn't mean we are idle. Now we are looking for their photos. The search for all Vietnam KIA/MIA's goes on.

Re: Mariah Yates Powell, 1807-1884, Mem. # 51702304. Can you transcribe the one line epitaph on her headstone that you photographed? I can't make it out. If you can enhance it and read it, will you please send it to me and also post it on her Memorial page with the rest of the info. on her headstone (before it becomes illegible)?

|Penny Wood Spaziani||Re: Russell Milberger|
I was looking at the photos you posted of Russell and see they were taken from the Internet ...Vietnam Veterans Memorial site vvmf.org and the one was originally posted on 7-11-02 by Edmond Fee. You should really give the others credit and tell where it was originally posted. Just a suggestion ....

I was in the River View Abby Cemetery and noticed Russell's headstone I took some photos and added them to his memorial as to which I see you added a photo for him. I just wanted you to know I also added his burial place which was unknown. You might want to go back and look at his memorial now it is really quite complete now.
|Michele Topping||George Croom - Grave photo|
Dear Mr. Reece,
Thank you so much for taking the photo of George Croom's grave. I was able to add it to my family tree. Again, thank you for your help and kindness.
You asked about the dupe. Normally I would request the duplicate to be removed but your's had photos and information so I deleted mine.
You are welcome!

Thank you so much for understanding what I wanted in making the addition to his memorial. In my second correspondence I meant to send his info, not hers. Thanks again, Lyn JB
