I became interested in my family tree when I was a teenager which I am so glad about as I was able to ask my Grandmothers questions. One Grandma from Virginia and one from New York.|
I have also asked several members of my family about our tree and then started genealogy research.
Which I have now been doing for many years for our family.
Also, I have for some years now been doing genealogy research for other people.
I also have several genealogy websites.
I like to visit cemeteries of course to visit my family who have passed but also when I can to post photographs of tombstones and memorials on this great site to help other people.

My wife and I just bought a new condo and the former owner left several pieces. Two of these are paintings your grandmother "Polle" painted. One is named "Fish Tails" from 1967 and the other "Quechua-Peru" with no date. We especially like "Fish Tails" as it is of Koi fish and the condo has a Koi pond.
As I was trying to find the artist I ran across your memorials of your grandparents. She was a very talented lady. It is great to see photographs of her. If you would photos of the work, I'll be glad to send to you if you provide us with your email address.
Alzheimer's is a terrible disease, I'm a nursing home administrator and see it very day.
I just wanted to say hello and that we have some of your grandmother's work!

Oh my goodness! Look what you found! I can not express enough gratitude for your help and kindness. What a awesome deed you did for us! I have been wondering what happened to my great grandmother and now I know her first name is Hannah and when and where she died. Thank you so much!
Would there be any way I could get a copy of the obituary you mentioned? I am not able to find it on line with my resources.
Also, thank you so much for taking the photos of their grave sites. Again, I can not say how excited I am to have this!

Thank you so much for the photo of Maggie's headstone. I appreciate it.
Please take a look at memorial #59673909, in Peninsula Memorial Cemetery, in Newport News... is she the grandchild mentioned in the Annie Pfaff obituary? You said her name was Elizabeth Mabel, but you have Elizabeth buried in Riverview! I have Mabel buried in Newport News!!
