If your Transfer Request falls outside of the Guidelines, I once considered each on an individual basis (as a courtesy), but all such consideration has ceased completely because of a really bad experience with another "contributor".

Therefore, effective Sunday, July 17, 2011, no out-of-guidelines Transfer Requests will be honored (that ESPECIALLY includes requests where no family connection is claimed at all)! So please do not waste my time and yours by asking for an out-of-guidelines transfer!
Before creating a memorial, please search THOROUGHLY to see if a record has already been added (REGARDLESS OF BURIAL STATUS)! Original creations will more likely show up by not just limiting your searches to cemeteries, even though that's all FAG suggests.

So to the "site-wide search naysayers", it only takes a moment! If there is already a memorial created for the NAME you're looking for, please just send a "Suggest A Correction" with any additional details (ESPECIALLY including burial information for Burial Unknowns) to the original memorial manager, instead of creating a duplicate.
I have a soft spot in my heart for veterans, and believe that they deserve our thanks and appreciation.

My beloved late father was a World War II combat vet, having served in the ...
~ United States Army
~ 82nd Airborne Division
~ 325th Glider Infantry Regiment
~ Company A
~ First Battalion
The individuals memorialized on Find A Grave meant something to somebody, and I do not take that lightly!
All "Virtual Flowers" that I put on memorials are genuine, and from the heart, whether I knew that individual or not.
I was raised with good manners, and I require good manners in any Find A Grave correspondence sent to me!

If your Find A Grave messages even have a HINT of being:
(all of which I experienced from one particular "contributor" on June 19, 2013),
So if you think you can get away with any of the above-mentioned behaviors with me, go ahead and give it your best shot. I'm ready for you!

And please DO NOT suggest that I "review the FAQs", as we are all human, and mistakes are made. I MIND MY OWN BUSINESS ... can you say the same about yourself?
Unless the legal name contains a hyphen or an apostrophe ... punctuation should not be included in the memorial name.
If the deceased female was never married, the surname still belongs in the Last Name field, NOT in the Maiden Name field."
Click on the "Edit" tab on the upper right of the memorial, and then click "Suggest A Correction" to submit additional BONA FIDE details/information/links to the memorial manager.

You might also consider "Virtual Cemeteries", as they are great ways to keep folks "together".

Please DO NOT enter SAC information through "Leave A Public Message", on a "Photo Caption", or as a "Virtual Flower" on ANY of the memorials I manage.
There is an allowable 30 day time frame to act on SACs, so one notice to me is sufficient.
I am getting way too many SACs from Find A Grave VISITORS! Your info will NOT be processed if you are not logged-in to Find A Grave. That is my non-negotiable personal preference.

RE: Tommy S. Chappell
Thanks Kathy...It's sad but there's no one left to ask. Only 5 cousins remain from Tommy and Jerry's Chappell side and no one seems to know anything. I can remember them slightly when I was small but we moved from the area. Do you have a photo of Jerry?

I added the pic for Lucas. Also, I created a memorial and added a pic for his wife Gilda (1923-2012) who is buried beside him.

325 GHR, Co.H

Hi my name is Eric Wall

I see that you have a lot of the graves of the men that fought in the 325GHR. In WWII.

What I would like to know is: My father served with the 13th Airborne, 326th Glider Inf., Co. I. But after the 13th was sent over to France he was a battle replacement to the 82nd Airborne, 325th Glider Inf., Co. H. I know that much, that is all. Would you know were in Europe that Co.H fought? After Feb.6,1945, that is when he arrived there.

My father Eugene Lawrence Wall passed away Feb.1973. As many of the men that served, he didn't talk much about it. The info that I do have on him tuck me a long time to get together. As you most likely know a lot of the records were lost in the 1970's in a fire :(

Anything you can give would be great!!

My father now is in Pine Hill Cemetery, Rush, N.Y..

Thank you so much for your note about her possible burial place. She was a great-grandmother and this information is very important to me. I have sent a note to the person who posted on Ancestry and hope that he has actual verification that she is at Maple Lawn (Stow-Hudson area of Summit Co Ohio).

Again thank you for your kindness in letting me know.
