I am pleased to announce that Mt Pleasant has been completely photographed. That is those stones that are visible. The photos are not posted on FAG but I check the request list against my database.|
All those photo requests are most likely unmarked or illegible grave sites.
Any memorial page I have created I have a picture of the headstone.
If you want a photo officially request one, don't bury your request in a spouse or another family members photo request.
Too many volunteers are now asking for other volunteers to do their research, please try and do your own on your time.
I take responsibility ONLY for the information obtained from the headstone unless otherwise specified by me. There are very few exceptions.
Due to the changes and procedures for adding addition information it is very time consuming to include the source. Find A Grave DOES NOT provide a way to show where the information comes from.
In light of these changes and the automated edit system, which makes it almost impossible to deny acceptance of changes and addition, I have been transferring all memorial pages to those wishing to make edits. This too has become too time consuming.
Therefore, in order to include the changes whether the information is CORRECT OR NOT I feel I am being forced to accept all edits. I hate this part because I have had quite a few people send edits only to resend two or three times in order to make corrections.
If you find errors send corrections but do not, I repeat DO NOT ask me about the information posted or hold me responsible for the additions. This goes against all genealogical best practices, but the only other solution would be to take down all the memorials and pictures I have posted.
If you find an error, double listing or double picture please let me know so I can correct the problem.
I have in the past used a picture of the cemetery gate/sign with "Office couldn't locate a burial for this person" imprinted on it. If you get this posting and do find a picture of you persons tombstone, let me know and I will remove it.
SHOULD YOU WISH TO MANAGE A MEMORIAL PAGE, PLEASE JUST ASK FOR A TRANSFER.

Finally have a chance to get back to you! I so much appreciate your checking with the Cemetery. I unfortunately live so far away but have also sent a message to the Creator/Owner of the Memorial, trying to find out how they got the info for the Memorial, so I;m unsure of the correctness right now. I do have a Cousin married into this Family and am trying to contact that person to verify their knowledge about LuLu Allan.

Your welcome. I have the same feelings as you in regards ato Find A Grave edits. I try to check all that I receive but cannot confirm all. A lot of the ones I receive I decline as the information on the burial permits is totally different than what they want me to add.
|Pete Nocks||RE: Mary Carbet Mendell 20300511|
I checked the burial permit and the information was not there. Someone must have sent that to me on a edit suggestion. I did search the library records and found that George was married to Cordelia Montgomery Mendell. I added that name to his memorial and removed his from Mary's.

Thanks for your response. I just happened to notice that Lulu Bennett had a married last name of Anderson on her memorial page: Find A Grave Memorial# 122400807. I am not sure where the Anderson name came from. I found her listed with the Married name: Allan. I am not sure if this makes a difference of if the Owner of the Memorial has made a mistake. Would you be willing to check with the Cemetery again using the Last married name as Allan? I so much appreciate your efforts.

Thank you for the photo.
I guess that there is not a headstone.

Thank you for this information. I was going by the obituary, which said Pacific Lutheran but if they are in Evergreen Washelli I will change it to make it correct. Appreciate your help.
